It seemed she was truly angered this time. Oddly, no one was at home. Bennett knocked on the neighbor's door, but the neighbor refused to answer. He yelled, "Police! Open the door!" The neighbor peeked through the spy hole and cautiously opened his door to a slight crack after seeing Bennett's police badge. Bennett asked with a frown, "Where are the people living across from you?" The neighbor, knowing that a family of three lived from across him, stammered upon seeing Bennett, "W-We are at work that time. I-I have no idea."

"A good neighbor is a present help. If you let my son use this place as his playroom, wouldn't he be just like your grandson? "With the addition of a grandson, you'll have more support later in life. You old fool, how can you not understand this?" I raised the knife and swung it once through the air. "If you don't leave right now, believe me, I'll chop you to pieces." Shirley stepped backward again and again until she finally retreated outside. I slammed the door shut. Her shrill, annoying voice was finally cut off. I'd lived in this apartment for two years, and the neighbors next door changed as often as the seasons.

My dog really is one of a kind. I was about to retreat inside when a chorus of moans and breathless whispers drifted over from my only neighbors-a young couple, Junior and Andeng, who lived alone in the cottage next door. "We're neighbors now, so I brought you some fruit." She couldn't help but open the door. She looked at him in disbelief. "You're moving in next door?" "Yes. The place next to yours was vacant and for sale, so I bought it," Spencer replied. "Don't worry. I won't disturb you. I just wanted the peace of mind of being nearby. If you need anything, even in the middle of the night, just knock, and I'll be here whenever you call."
