“Yes, Ms. Mancini. Evelyn and everything tied to the name have ended, once and for all.” Outside, the snow-covered mountains stood lofty, and the sky was a deep blue. All the love, hate, crimes, and judgments of the past had faded like smoke, stirring nothing within me. All that had gone rested in the deep sea and on the execution ground. The journey ahead was long, and I walked with only the stars.

Richard said and went to walk about. “I’m sorry Barry to cut our day short but I best go with Mr Grumpy he clearly has a problem, and I’d like to resolve it.” Nicola looked at Barry and touched his arm. Richard lifted and eyebrow since when was he grumpy, he looked at Barry and shook his head, both men were clearly confused. Nicola seemed to be seeing a totally different book to either of them. With that Barry shrugged his shoulders, shook Richard’s hand said goodbye and left. What a strange encounter that was.
