A small smile slowly moved across my lips. "Bad night... but I will miss you, girl." Anita screamed excitedly before wrapping both arms around my waist. "Me too! But we have to have fun tonight and forget about Andrea." She stepped back with a big smile. "Best friends forever." I laughed softly. "Forever." Tonight was my last night in Cheville. This night, my mum and I would leave to her new husband's house. Another school. Another life. But I was outside trying to have fun without my mum's permission.

She was hoping that no one would notice the blood on her face as she crossed the street and was thankful that Frank chose an apartment directly across the street from the park. She took a shower to get the blood off her skin and crawled into bed next to Frank. He turned to bring her closer to him. “Hey luv!” said Frank in a sleepy voice as she passed her left arm around his chest. “How was your night?” “Long and weird.
