She nodded. The hilltop, as Rhia and Layla called it was a short mountain hike around the territory of the True North. At the very top, it gave a beautiful view of the town and it was where Rhiannon usually went to clear her head whenever it was getting a little too much for her. In a few minutes, she was seated on the rocky surface with her legs dangling over the edge. The Noatak River winded through the land and looked amazing. “You like the scenery, Jade? Noatak Alaska is a beautiful place,” Conri stated as he came to my side. His scent tickled my nose. I realized he smelled very nice, just like the flannel and black tee I had slept in. I lifted my finger to brush the tip of my nose as I peeked up at his profile.
