Out of My Way, I'm Becoming a Billionaire

Out of My Way, I'm Becoming a Billionaire

Moreover, she couldn't ask about Micah’s strategist. If she did, they might classify her as being affiliated with Micah. As the saying goes, where there was a will, there was a way to find a crime. For her, the most important thing now was to stay alive until Dimas woke up. She looked at the bars shining with light and felt it was time to play a fitting song—‘Tears by the Iron Window’. ‘Iron door, iron window, iron chain. Leaning on the iron window, I look outside. The life outside is so beautiful.’

Caught in a Web With No Way Out

Caught in a Web With No Way Out

"Damn it! How dare she! Place the entire pack on alert and find her, be it alive or dead!" … When they dragged her back days later, she was caked in mud, filthy from her attempt to cross the woods on foot and leave the Nightcrest pack. Dumped at Theron's feet, she looked like a pathetic, wretched stray mutt. "What were you running away from? Weren't you so eager to be my mate?" Theron's cold, icy gaze dropped to her flat stomach. "You bribed the reporters and faked a pregnancy, so what else did you lie about?"

My Only Way Out, Is To Go So Far In

My Only Way Out, Is To Go So Far In

Khailah P.O.V The filthy and packed semi-truck that we were in finally came to a stop. At least 100 or so females are inside here with me. Some of the ladies were crying, yelling for help, praying, or mumbling incoherently. Some of the more recent kidnapped companions are banging on the walls. While yelling to be freed! I’m actually not sure how many of us are stashed in the back of here. There are no lights inside here and my cellphone battery finally died two days ago. We’ve been in this truck for almost a week now, I believe. The only times that they’ve stopped were to add more females. When my phone still had some power, I turned it on to airplane mode to preserve the battery. And used t

A Damaged Alpha

A Damaged Alpha

There was no way out that way. Breathing, I tried to remember my training. I had never been the most effective warrior. Leona and Naomi were the ferocious ones in our family but I had learnt a few bits. The only way out of here was going to be the cell door. /We must work together, trust me again/ Nina begged as I curled up in a ball, twisting my fingers as we silently discussed ideas.

The Day I Disappeared

The Day I Disappeared

"Darling, something urgent came up at the office. I can't drive you back. You head home first." Without waiting for a response, he turned and rushed off. Right then, my phone lit up. It was a message from Winifred. It was a photo—her wrist slashed open, with blood everywhere. "Wanda, what do you think? If Edgar finds out I'm trying to kill myself while carrying his baby… do you think he'll still choose you?"

The Alpha broken mate

The Alpha broken mate

“We need another way out.” I scanned the room. There—a window high on the wall, probably leading to street level. “There!” Njord looked where I was pointing. “It’s too high.” “Not for me.” I holstered my gun and started climbing, using the stacked boxes as a makeshift ladder. The window was small, but I could fit through it. Below, the fire door burst open. Guards poured in. “Go!” Njord shouted, turning to face them. He opened fire, dropping the first three through the door.

I Left the Day She Got Pregnant

I Left the Day She Got Pregnant

However, I was already gone. I did not know how I escaped. Flames scorched my skin, and smoke blocked my throat. I almost thought today would be my death. In the most dangerous moment, my wolf awakened. My bones twisted in agony, and my skin tore open with silver light. At that moment, I was no longer anyone's Luna. I was just a wolf desperate to survive. I protected my documents and charged toward the window. With a loud crash, I smashed through the glass and landed heavily on the grass.

The Day I Should've Died

The Day I Should've Died

The memory burning. “I wish you'd just died that day when you were ten. I wish they never revived you.” And then there was what Daniela had said when she agreed to go out with him. "Adrian, you passed my test. Now I believe you're really over that deaf girl. You and me. A date." Every single sentence felt like a needle piercing straight through his chest, and the pain was bone-deep. Adrian's vision went dark, and his mind suddenly jumped to that day at the mall.

Her Day, My Torment

Her Day, My Torment

"Rest up. Mom said you'll need to be back out there for the second half." The door clicked shut, and the room fell silent. The pills seemed to take effect. My throat eased, and air finally filled my lungs more fully. But dizziness hit me harder than ever. I pressed a hand to my belly, and felt a twist from within. It grew stronger, tighter with each breath. No. This isn't right! The dizziness worsened. I tried to leave. But the doorknob wouldn’t budge— she had locked it from the outside!

Wrong Way Up

Wrong Way Up

“I honestly would not have been able to get through all of this with out you. Thank you for being my rock, and for helping me with everything.” Emily hugged me and explained that now that I had the keys, we needed to make a fast escape plan. Since the children were distracted by exploring the new house, Emily and I discussed my next course of action. Since tomorrow was a weekday, I knew that Jax would be at work from early in the morning until about two in the afternoon. Emily quickly started making phone calls to people that we knew that could help with moving out my furniture, as well as people we knew with trucks. Since I had already been planning to leave Jax, I had made a list of everyt

There's a phrase, right in the initial chapters, where Noel says she is not old, but is too old to start again. That really got to me, because even now we are taught that. We need more diversity in our female characters, so thanks for writing this.
Alyssa Lyons
I absolutely love this book, It has so much depth and it's not all sunshine and roses which makes It that much more real. Hoping it will be finished soon! And if it's by any chance based on a true story, Noel is strong and amazing and worthy of love and happiness, hope she never believes otherwise!
