The kids and pets were in the guest room sleeping while the adults were drinking and dancing. This was my engagement night and it was the best night of my life. "Sweet Lady would you be my sweet love for a lifetime?" I sang to Alessandro who was sitting on the couch with a glass of whiskey. "I'll be there when you need me. Just call and receive me." I ran my hand down his beautiful face and he watched me with a smile.

I had drunk several bottles of mineral water while on the bus. Therefore, I felt the urge to get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. When I groggily opened my eyes, I noticed that Kathleen wasn't in bed. On my way to the bathroom, I passed by the living room and saw a dim, red light flickering from the room next door. It was just the two of us at home—could Kathleen be in there? If it was her, what was she doing there this late at night?

Four handsome guys were eating breakfast on the table though the guy from last night was nowhere to be seen! I approached them with my slow footsteps, and greeted in my sweet tone "Hello, I am Nyla" they all screamed together and I could tell that they were surprised by my presence in their house. They all gathered in the corner and one of them asked "who are you, a hunter?" I furrowed my brows with doubt as his words were hard to understand and just when I was about to say something, the guy from last night interrupted our conversation "she is a guest, a wolf was chasing her last night, so I allowed her to stay for one night" His words flashed happiness on their faces.

Caius walked up to the doorway of the veranda and gave them a confused look while he scratched his neck. She and her mom just chuckled. Her ‘Mommy’ Gerona Vesarius, lent one of the guest rooms in the mansion. The old woman already treated them as an addition to their family and even gave her mom and brother one of the three best guest rooms in the house. “You just want to join our drama. Come here.” Caius was about to avoid her, but then she grabbed his collar. “What the! You’re such a sadist, you know that? I’m not sure how Gideon could tolerate you.”

she asked. "Tiring. Since yesterday, I haven't slept well. I barely got a couple of hours of shuteye. Relaxing at home is all I want to do." A scowl flashed on her face as she called out to a staff member, "Please take Ms. Parker to one of the guest rooms, let her clean up, and allow her to relax." "Of course, ma'am." Said the helper. I wanted to refuse the offer, but she shot me a glance that said, "Don't give me that bullsh*t."

I nodded, “But there is no need to be quick. I still haven’t done anything dor Arson.” “Then consider that advance payment for spending some time with him today.” I nodded. “So, want to sleep here with me? Continue gawking there and I’ll shut the door close.” He was not finished but I immediately ran outside the door, hearing him laughing by the halls. I went to the right and finally saw the guest room with a pajama place and some toiletries. I took a quick shower and lay on the mattress, my eyes closing. Tomorrow is different.

Adam asked with a pleading face. "Better put your clothes on first before I explain everything. I'm afraid Gavin will come home and see us," I said quickly. "Gavin's staying over again? He's not coming home. You can tell me everything in peace," Adam said quite forcefully. I turned my head to the window to face Adam, who was putting on his clothes that he had brutally taken off last night. I remembered so well how the previous night, the two of us were lovingly united, and I felt spoiled by a man who turned out not to be my husband. I grabbed my hair lightly; I felt guilty about last night.
