The market sprawls in a clearing, colorful tents and stalls spilling over each other, the air thick with the smell of baked bread, roasting meat, herbs, and smoke. Men from different packs weave through the rows, bartering loudly.
“This is…” I pause, eyes wide. “Lively.”
“Overwhelming,” Rowan mutters.
“Perfect,” Elias corrects. He’s already steering me toward the nearest stall.
