"Yeah?" ​"I'm sorry," I said, pointing a finger directly at his chest. "Are you cooking?" ​He blinked, his thick dark eyebrows pulling together in mild confusion. "Yeah... why?" ​"Because it smells ridiculously good," I said, crossing my arms over my chest. "Can I have a taste?" ​He looked past me into the empty hallway, then back down at my face, stepping back an inch. "Who are you?" ​"Oh, right! I'm Tasha," I blurted out, offering a bright, unbothered smile. "Your new next-door neighbor. We literally just moved in yesterday."

He turned the deadbolt back. At the door he stopped. “We play at home next week,” he said, not looking at Tate. “Don’t text me.” “I didn’t save the number.” Knox’s mouth did that almost-thing again. Not a smile. He opened the door, checked both ways, and was gone. The latch clicked soft. Tate stripped the comforter, flipped it, and sat on the other bed so the room would look normal. His hands were not steady. His phone lit up on the nightstand.

“Maybe I’ll bask in the sun?” I chuckle at her. “We have to read the room first.” “The room? We’re outside.” She sounds confused. “I’d say we’re already in good company.” Milo points to the sign, then knocks lightly. A woman with white blonde hair and clear gray eyes cracks the door open and peeks out. “I’m not buying anything.” “Oh, no, we’re not here to sell anything.” Milo takes a partial step forward. “We just wanted to introduce ourselves to the neighbors. We’re staying in the rental house next door. I’m Milo. This is my wife, Lenora.”

SHAYLE Oh my god. He actually recognized me. The shock hit me as I blinked at him, heat crawling up my neck, and for a moment my tongue glued itself to the roof of my mouth. “Uh… I’m your neighbor,” I stammered out, clearing my throat way too late. “Next door.”

When Rachel heard me say that, she let out a cold laugh. "Defendant, is your son some kind of irresistible catch? Does my client, Daisy, have nothing better to do than rush to ruin her own purity just to frame him?" Daisy immediately echoed her. "I really did see Lucas. When I was heading to tutoring, I happened to see him coming out of his apartment. We took the elevator down together. He told me his name was Lucas Cole and that he was a newly moved-in neighbor."

From the rhythm of those moans, Draven was clearly doing a good job. My whole body tensed. I wanted to feel that good, too. Kian noticed the look on my face. He reached down and grabbed my legs. My younger brother Winston kept on nagging me, to come to Players tonight. I was actually looking forward to relaxing and drown myself in pity. "Okay...Winnie, but just for a couple of hours okay? I got to go to the beach house tomorrow and air out the house. I need to start my training for my next championship." I said as I start getting my fresh shirt from the walk-in closet.
