It should not happen. *************** We were watching a movie late night. It was raining heavily. Enjoying popcorns and soda. Sometimes the thunder would crack the pitter patter on the glass. Since the lighting was perfect in the garden, we could see flowers and trees swinging and swaying in the air. Enjoying the rain pouring down. Louis was laughing at a scene when suddenly the power went off with a loud bang sound. "I think the power supply is breakdown". I turned to Louis but got surprised to see him curled in a corner.

Then, a few more followed… He didn't dodge any of them. Bottles and random objects rained down on him, but his eyes never left me. "Get out, you psycho!" the crowd screamed. I watched everything from the sideline, feeling not a hint of sympathy. … After the exhibition ended, my fame soared like never before. Claire excitedly told me, "'Betrayal' was sold for two million dollars!" I nodded indifferently. "Donate the money to the Center for Domestic Violence Victim Support."

He seemed unphased so I dropped the bomb. “I’m breaking all my bonds.” His face stayed neutral except for the clench of his jaw. His words sounded forced when he spoke next. “And what made you decide that?” “When I broke my bond with Thorne,” I continued. “My wolf, she woke up. I think the prophecy isn’t giving us the full story. I think not only can my bonds give me powers, but breaking them can as well.” Valentin swallowed thickly. “You think so?” “I know so,” I nodded. “My wolf came out when my bond broke. Her pupils shrank, her eyes darting around—like she was searching for someone to save her. But the office was silent. Empty. Just the two of us. I looked up at him, stunned. I had used my power. My eyes were no longer my own, they were dark like the storm building inside me. My nails had grown, sharp, and deadly. He took a step back, confusion flickering through his gaze. He asked for this. He wanted to push me until something broke. So I broke. Not in the way he hoped.
