As I was stunned, he lifted my chin with his hand and a nice, deep voice rang in my ear, "Where did this stray puppy come from?"

Sierra said. “No! My spirit doesn’t go with him.” Bia insisted. “You’re already a spirit Bia, and wolves don’t go along well with puppies but before I found you, Pets like this gave me solace in the human world” Sierra explained. “He must have wandered off from his owner and got lost” she added. “Suit yourself” Bia humph and returned to the back of her owner’s mind. “So adorable” Sierra gently pats the puppy’s fur and took him away with her.

Most of these pets run away from their homes, simply because they are afraid, while others do not run too far from home, for they know it will surely end and they will have to come back to their homes, so as he stared into the eye of the puppy, that looked cold, he helped it up, and placed it on its side, to save it from getting too cold. I slump in my chair, rubbing a hand down my face, we need to find them and fast. I leave my office and go back outside and mind link Dimitri, “anything yet?” He responds at once, “nothing here Alpha, it’s almost like they left themselves, there is no other scents but the pups and parents in this room.” I nod and mind link Beta Charles, “anything?”

But a faint shimmer hung in the air — like the trace of a soul that refused to vanish. It drifted toward him, coiling faintly around his wrist before dissolving. He closed his eyes, trembling. “Then show me the way,” he whispered. “If you’re still out there, show me.” The ground beneath him shifted.
