Jack opened the door and nodded to him before turning back to me. His eyes were wet as his thumbs smeared the tears off my cheek. He then traced his thumb across my lower lip before taking my chin in his hand and pulling me into a kiss. I could taste the salt of my tears—salty like the ocean—as I kissed him one last time.

I found myself aching to kiss him. Robbie raised the bucket over my head, his strong arms steady as he prepared to pour it. I stepped in close to him, and he let the water fall over us. I stood on tiptoe and found his lips with mine, the water cascading around us. This kiss wasn't the innocent first taste of love between two friends. Her lips are soft as satin and her tongue is skilled in the way it teases me back. As I lose myself in our kiss, I guide us towards the nearest waterfall and immerse us underneath the cascading water. She pulls back from our kiss and arches back allowing the water to pour over her. I watch mesmerised as her twinkling body is showered in the iridescent pinks, whites and purples of the waterfall. Even with all the unimaginable beauty around us, it doesn’t compare to the beauty of the woman in my arms.

I had an idea how he would react if he saw me like this and he didn’t disappoint. Rain licked his lip and stared at my body. “You are the prettiest girl I have ever seen. Can I please kiss you now and we’ll forget Roman was at the door?” I nodded, “already forgotten.” And I pulled Rain towards me. Rain was a lot taller than me, so I had to stand on my tiptoes to kiss him. Luckily Ari and Rain had one thing in common, they both liked picking me up when kissing me and I didn’t mind it one bit.
