They're—” “Red,” Summer finishes. “They've been glowing red for the past ten minutes.” “Not just ref.” Zane's voice carries something like reverence. “Blue too. Red and blue mixed together. I've never seen anything like it.” “What does that mean?” I ask, though I'm not sure I want to know the answer. Zane and Summer exchange a look. Some unspoken communication passing between them.
