Meeting Again

Meeting Again

I don't even get the treatment of a normal human being and these people think that they are achieving nirvana by demeaning us. "What's so great about you that you can speak such bull about me? A rich dad's spoiled and pampered princess who had never seen a day of sorrow, deprivation, or struggle, who do you think you are to curse me and my son? Just one rejection and you are already dying?? All my life, I have known nothing but rejection. Not only have I been rejected by Robbie, but also by my parents, my classmates, and even the entire society, and you think your sorrow is greater??"

I am so enjoying this book and the inclusion of the diversity of different types of love. It does need some proofreading and sometimes feels as if it is being written in texting form but I am intelligent enough to figure out how to read it correctly. I love the strength of Tony. Glad this has finally been finished. There is one thing I do not understand, however. Aside from being labeled as Alphas and Omegas, thos book has nothing to do with werewolves and as such should not have been labeled as it being so.

The Night Boss

The Night Boss

“He walked in with his boys—men who looked like wolves dressed in human skin. They didn’t just see a fight. They saw me. The way I stood my ground, the way I didn’t back down even when I should’ve. He came to me afterward, smiling like a friend. Said I had potential. Said he could give me a real job, one that paid more than scrubbing dishes. Enough money to make sure my mother never went hungry again.” Rico’s eyes burned with anger now, but his voice dropped, heavy with guilt. “I was desperate. I was angry. And I was stupid enough to believe him.” He looked straight into the cameras, as though addressing the city directly. “That’s how they get you. They don’t come to the rich kids, the ones

In the Professor's Arms

In the Professor's Arms

She quickly adjusted her nightgown, ensuring her modesty was restored, the straps slipping back onto her shoulders like a fragile barrier between her and Zarek's unwanted advances. Zarek's eyes narrowed, confusion and insult etched on his face, his pride wounded by her rejection. He wasn't accustomed to being refused, especially not by a woman; his charm and wealth had always guaranteed him a willing partner. The great Zarek Wolfe, the infamous bachelor, the richest man in the country—his every gesture, every smile, every whispered promise had made women weak in the knees, eager to surrender to his charms.

 The Luna's Promise

The Luna's Promise

I mean, he really wanted me to leave, didn't he? I hurled the folder onto the mattress. I didn’t need his money. Nothing could ease the hurt of being rejected by my partner—the man to whom I had pledged everything. I climbed out of bed, pushed the crumpled blankets back, and fixed my gaze on the image of my own beauty. My face, though not compared to Natalia's, was still striking. She looked more beautiful than me, while I appeared plain, yet somehow I was the prettier one. My pale skin and black curls were perfect and elegant, and my plum lips and doe eyes were prominent features on my face.

Rejected by One, Wanted by Another

Rejected by One, Wanted by Another

Lucy watched his face, sensing the hurt behind his words. “But a big corporation wanted his land,” Jonathan continued. “They didn’t need it. They just didn’t want competition. When he refused to sell, they destroyed him slowly. Blocked his shipments. Lied to his bank. Framed him for something he didn’t do. In six months… everything he built was gone.” Lucy swallowed hard. “What happened to him?” Jonathan’s voice softened. “He died a few years later. Alone. Meanwhile, the company that ruined him made record profits and moved into his building like he never existed.”

MORE THAN FORBIDDEN

MORE THAN FORBIDDEN

By the time I left the office, I already knew Noah had been rejected before the interview even started. I sat quietly inside the taxi afterward while staring at the folder containing Noah’s application papers. Everything about those schools screamed perfection, wealth, and status the second someone entered their gates. Children arrived in luxury cars while parents wore expensive suits and smiled confidently beside them. Meanwhile I stood there alone answering questions about missing parents and unpaid medical history. No matter how much money I suddenly had now, people still looked at me like I did not belong beside them. Worse, they looked at Noah the same way too.

His Rejected Wife: The Billionaire’s Regret

His Rejected Wife: The Billionaire’s Regret

Vaughan fumed. Julia looked at me sympathetically, and I wanted to fall and let the ground swallow me. I shouldn’t be affected, but it hit close to home. I was the rejected wife. The one he didn’t want. My throat felt dry, and my palms got sweaty as I exhaled heavily. “Think about the dinner and forget that girl,” his father said. Footsteps approached the door, so I stepped back just as the door opened. Frank Carson walked out first, looking immaculately smart and his face hard as stone.

The Crowned and The Rejected

The Crowned and The Rejected

Noctis has never been this agitated since we merged, and it only made me more on alert about this pack visit. The cars pulled into the extravagant compound, and the first thing I noticed was how much in contrast in luxury it was compared to the pack member's house I noticed on the way here; their Alpha was definitely living above his means. The wealth of your people should reflect on your people, not yourself, was one of the lessons my father drilled into me growing up. William got out first, and he held open the door for me, and I stepped out. The first thing that hit me was the stench of sadness that hung in the air. I knew that smell by heart because it had hung around me for my adolescen

Four Babies and a Billion Dollar Lie

Four Babies and a Billion Dollar Lie

Loud rejection He shouldn’t have gone, Richard told himself as he walked the long block to the bus stop, the city a washed out ribbon of lights. But he could not leave it. He had to try again, to knock another door, to wait for the right moment when the past might make room for him. He had not expected the barbed reply that came later from a number he had not dialed in months: a cold-lipped voice that suggested a bargain.
