Three were given to the dwarf, and five were given to different men who were seeking more sovereignty. Ryan begins his speech. He has now returned to his previous position, and my mom is sitting beside him. The moon's casting is reflected on them, and they look flawless. If not for the certainty that they are betrayers and bloody suckers, I would gladly accept them as my parents. “They say he’s cursed. You know that. But there’s more. There’s talk that the last woman close to him didn’t just die—she was… marked. Something about a ring.” The blood drained from my face, I had also heard Sage and Alvin talking about a ring the other night. “A ring?” Grace nodded, frowning at my reaction. “You’ve heard of it?” I forced a casual shrug. “Just stories.” But my mind was already spinning, replaying every word from Alvin and Sage’s conversation. Marcus explained. “That’s true.” The ring that this man wore had the same drawing as on the ring of the man that Rhea described but their figures were different. This one seemed to be smaller than whom Rhea had described. The question now was why these two people were interacting with each other? From how they were moving, it was clear that the both of them knew each other. “Where is he now?” I inquired. “Dead. Stabbed on the stomach multiple times in an alleyway that he frequently passed through.”

“But those are my lest favorite activities. So, I’m going to have to pass on that.” My eyes move to Orion, studying him, wondering at his place in all of this. But it only takes a moment to notice the iron ring around his neck, the cuffs around his wrists and ankles. The metal looks finely, almost delicately wrought, but it doesn’t take much guessing to understand that it’s held in place by Death’s power.

Probably shouldn't have done that, because the moment I called out his name, he became aware of me and pushed me away as I gasped and opened my eyes. I looked around, finding back to the place where we all were. "Dang, it... I need to be discreet next time." I grumbled, standing up and walking over to Jace and the others. "What happened?" Jace asked. "I saw him holding a ring which gave a strange death aura. Black and green hues surrounding it." I spoke what I saw. It took a moment for that to settle in Jace's mind before he gasped in realization. "The Necromancy ring!! Aahh I should've known!"

I sat there alone, the ticket clutched in my shaking hands, staring at the ring still on the metal table. Azrael’s ring. I'd told him not to die and that's exactly what he did.

Only he knew how much will power he had to summon to hold back. “Heh” Dana scoffed as she tried to take the ring off. She didn’t know that the ring was specially engineered to fit the finger like a second skin. Once it was split into two halves it would only loosen once either of the DNA coupling data that was used to activate the split became deactivate. “You can only remove this after I pass away, you will no longerh be bound by our promise.” Ben smiled as she saw her struggling with the ring. “What if I pass away first?”

When he saw her coming out, he straightened and scanned her appearance. “Where is your ring?” he asked, founding her empty finger carrying a faint outline of the diamond ring. She gazed at her finger and caressed the area gently. Her shoulder sagged in unseen defeat as she remembered how she removed it and placed the heavy diamond in a box to wash the guilt scratching her spine. The ring was remainder of a woman who died from the hands of her father while protecting her son. Her blood must have bathed the precious stone at that time. Crystal can not bring herself to wear it again, thinking about how her blood was responsible for the destruction of a peaceful empire.

He went to the underground hideout where his corpse lay. He removed the alphabetical ring off his dead body. The ring was black and silver and featured the alphabet "JK". He planned to wear her ring right opposite the moon because he had this ring when he died, so when she wore this ring, her soul would be completely his.
