The Rising Of The Shield Hero Romane & Geschichten

I might have to drag her to the capital by force if I have to. Zel appears in front of them in an instant stopping Mortas and Luna in their tracks. "Well look what I found. You really thought you could get away from me, didn't you? I see you also had some help escaping, I wish there was more of you so I could have more fun." Zel rushes towards them with the intention to kill. Without thinking, Mortas puts up a shield right as Zel attacks them. The impact breaks his shield, the shockwave sends Mortas and Luna flying back landing on their backs.

Even I, if I were him, I wouldn't believe me either. The shield that was created by my unconscious sister started fading, and both of Chris and Earl got themselves ready to escape the lake. Chirs lift up Stephany between his hands, while Earl stands before them protectively. They both were ready to die while protecting her, and no one was ready to even stand by my side. The moment the shield was completely gone, Chris used his gifted - the illusion to duplicate them all. In a while, there were too many of them. The next while, it was only me. I was left alone.

The Archangels rose up, their frightened eyes fixed upon me, their burning wings beating furiously as they tried to gain traction in the air. 'Casey,' Oscar urged, grabbing hold of me. 'The shield! Now! Put up the fucking shield.' They were coming our way and from where I knelt in the dust, I could see Michael's enraged face twisting, his flesh shifting, his beautiful flawless skin becoming scarred, almost as if the heat from his bones was melting it from within. He was screeching as he flew at us, followed closely by the others and without barely thinking about it, I held out my hand again as if to protect us from their attack and the shield appeared instantly, a flickering blue light ballo

It expanded, covering her and Noah in the warm light. Noah did the same. His crimson aura intertwined through Ophelia’s like water through cracks, it formed a shield of red and violet. A soldier from their right fired the first bullet, it whipped with high velocity cutting through the smoke. It collided with the shield and missed its targets. Ophelia started to count down silently in her head, at the count of three, she launched towards the nearest soldier before her. Noah followed her with more force, the ground cracked where his feet once stood. Their shields ripped apart like fabric, reforming themselves around them as separate entities looming behind them.

Shit she was good, I was so bloody proud and amused by her. “That’s my girl” Ryan bellowed as he ran over and gave her a high five. I laughed as I walked past them and offer Grant my hand to help him up. “She kind of kicked your arse mate, maybe I should make her a bodyguard” “Fuck you” He mumbled wiping the blood from his nose “I didn’t even see her fucking move man” “You are not the only one, one minute she was sat in the chair blindfolded, the next the blindfold was off, and she was heading right for you”

Theon yells a warning, and I look up at the ceiling. And a large chunk of it cracks, and falls. Instinctively, I drag Theon towards me and cross my arms above my head. Energy zings through my body, and a light purple shield erupts out of my ring. The debris smashes on the surface of the shield, shattering into pieces. The impact of it makes me stagger, but I hold the shield in place. "What the hell..." Theon mouths, staring at my cracked shield. "How?" "Long story," I say, and the shield disappears. The rumbling hasn't stopped yet, and more ceiling pieces start to fall. "Let's go!"

I can feel the Universe fortifying me, strengthening my will as it bestows its power of creation and destruction as armor made of light springs from my muscles and bones, building around my form as I move towards the couple. A hand touches my shoulder. Looking to the right I see another shining form shaded in a mist of gray and shadows, holding a shield of stone and steel made of aether and prayer. On his head is a helm of twilight, but as he turns towards me there is no mistaking that crooked smile or intense, intelligent gaze. Gideon. I reach out to him with more than just my body and I know immediately that he is free of Vincent's taint, cleansed by a holy fire powered by our beloved hers

I transform and I look at her pleading eyes as she croaks, “Goddamn it.” My body moves on its own as I fall into a squat, reach forward, and snap her neck. She goes still, and my chest quickly rises and falls as the rain soaks my shirt, my shorts, my hair. I blink the water out of my eyes as I’m brought back to life. I take a second look at Brea, I raise my trembling hands out in front of me. I killed her. My jaws release and my mouth falls open. I scream. - Riven

"Kenru is right. You're the fight we refuse to lose. I— I'm willing to risk my life to ensure you leave this arena safely." I turned my gaze to Borracho, his unyielding courage evident on his face. He meant every word. "Idrish's heart is strong. Idrish's heart guides. Follow your heart." Swallowing the lump in my throat, I took a step forward. At last, I found the strength to stand, to face them all with newfound resolve. With the intention of protecting my team, I released the concentrated energy that formed the shield. The massive metallic structure dissolved into fine particles that dispersed in the air. The once-mighty shield transformed into a protective covering that enveloped each mem

But three of her soldiers attacked them and within thirty seconds the guards were on the floor hearts no longer beating. Women screamed, people scrambled out of the throne room, the abled men in the crowd, and the soldiers from Antarti pack began to advance ready to shed blood but stopped short as they saw Athena's soldiers killing the guards who tried to stop her. One by one they came to stand by her. All 75 of them. Everywhere became silent. With a strong steady voice, she introduced herself. "I am Athena the firstborn child of the Alpha Caden. I have come back to take my rightful position." She paused.
