The fighting went on and when I noticed the ice that was about to drop from the sky, they were like arrows but instead of arrows, they were ice. Quickly I alerted my team, "Take cover from the sky, SHIELD! PROTECT YOURSELVES!", I ordered as we shielded. The drops of ice on our shields were strong and forceful. It had managed to reach some of my warriors, killing them off. It had already dawned on me that we were losing, I had already lost so much of my warriors and when I scanned the area, I could see a new set of Luke's warriors.

Yassyr bellowed, and the broken shield swiftly reformed, solidifying before them and revealing their true defense. Alexander's sword clashed against the shield, and both sides locked in a stalemate. "Haha, are you surprised? The Moon Deity Shield is our ultimate defense technique!" Yassyr laughed confidently. However, cracks began to spread across the energy shield, and Yassyr's smile vanished. He had underestimated Alexander's swordsmanship. Alexander broke through the shield, charging forward as his sword energy crushed the trio. The outcome was decided. Alexander stood with his sword on his back, not bothering to deliver a killing blow.

I questioned. 'It's dangerous to be on his turf with no protection.' Reese replied.

And there was only one weapon in the universe that had the power to do that. The Shield. The Vampire Shield. Caleb’s heart sank, as his breath was taken from him. They had found the Shield first. They had beaten them to it, and had already used it. These creatures, these thousands of demons, had all been resurrected with the Shield, dragged up from the depths of hell. The shield had fallen into the wrong hands. That meant they had no chance. No chance at all of survival.
