Ken was still present, and I covered my face, closing my eyes in mortification. "Pet," Romario growled in my ear, making me open my eyes. "I need you to remember a few rules for this party." He spoke seriously, and I sat up straight to listen. "First, don't drink anything offered to you." Easy enough, since I didn't drink alcohol anyway. "Second, don't speak unless asked a question, and be polite and respectful." I nodded, understanding. "Most importantly, don't leave my sight. I'll punish you if you break any of these rules, understand?" He pecked my lips, and I replied, "Yes, Master."

I noticed that it became quiet outside once I said my piece. A few seconds later, a scream rang out, followed by Yvonne's shriek and pounding. "You're a murderer, Caleb! You'll rot in hell for this! There are still people in my apartment! I'll haunt you for the rest of your life if anything happens to them!" I ignored her completely. I turned back to the bed, sat down, and leafed through the protocol book. I could hear the sound of sirens, followed by the roar of the trucks' engines and calls over the intercom, drifting in from outside.

A weird little community ritual. Instead, it felt like stepping into a battlefield, with Maya as commander, her rainbow crew as loyal lieutenants, and me standing like a rookie who didn’t even know the rules. And the worst part? Somehow, some way, I knew this wasn’t going to stay “yearly, secret, pointless.” It was going to get personal. Nia clapped again, bright and cheerful. “Alright, everyone, wrap it up. Soon we shall lie the candles and read out the anonymous message written on each paper, remember it's for fun and nothing should be used against anybody, secrets stay secrets”

RULE 3: No fighting allowed. You’re here to represent your school. Do so with your best. RULE 4: Engagement with other... I frowned as I read each line. What was this? Some prison rule book? The seniors didn’t have as many rules as I did. In fact, the had none except to not get lost.

I replied and use the duvet to cover my body. I drag my legs to the room and I gasp at the numbers of clothes inside the room. What!!!! This is more than a store!!! I didn't know the one to pick but I later pick a black one and wear it there, I walk out of the room and met him on a call already. I decide to wait for him and after a while,he ended the call. "Come closer"He gestured at me and I walk levelly to him. "Here are the rules and regulations which will be guiding you and you must keep it or else you will regret it"He handed a small book to me and I nodded.

It was still too early to ask for a favor, but I did not have a choice. “Yes, sure. You can ask for anything.” Aria said. She seemed to be the soft-spoken one. Alina was the loud one. And it was so obvious that they both came into the selection willingly. “Can I borrow your phone? And I learned that a rule book was given. Can I go through it?” I needed to read the rules and know what I was really getting myself into. “Sure.” Aria reached for her phone and searched her bag for a while before retrieving a book that had the werewolf's royal crest on the front page.

She thought maybe she could see some things that could break the bond. She walked to the shelves and searched around for any books that involved werewolves. She picked up a book from the shelf. The book had a picture of a black wolf in front of the title. "Werewolves rule." She remembered that she had seen the book before. The book was for anyone who had just transformed for the first time. It was for the new wolves to know and follow certain rules. "Maybe it might have something to do with how to break it." She said , flipping the book. It was a book with a lot of tiny writing. She flipped it for some time, until she got bored. She was about to drop it when something caught her attention.

She sighs "What if he finds out," I said "Then that means death for me" She shrugs "That's scary" I shook my head opening the book "Rule no.1, do not look into his eyes when serving him or whenever you are with him" I read out loud "I can help you know," Nicole said taking the book from me before I can reject "Okay" I agreed since I know it may be a great chance for me to know the rules quick "You already read the first rule so I don't need to re-read it again," She said

I gripped his polo, attempting to gain strength. "C-Can ww-we h-have aa c-cont-t-ract—" He scoffed at me. "If you want to negotiate with me, don't ask me for some contract bullshits. We're not in a fucking romance novel, baby, and I'm not just going to be a fucking simple lawyer. I like to break someone's rules. I have my own rules." "A-Az-za-z-zel—" "I'm the rule of law, Sera."

Luna Martha informed me, handing me a stack of paper which I put on my lap. The title read 'Rules for Dinners’ and it was one of the many books which she had given me to read and study. This book was twenty pages long and it had a load of words and images which told me what to wear, how to act and so forth. I really felt bad for the trees that this book came out of.
