The CEO's Pretend Wife

The CEO's Pretend Wife

She lost one of her shoes as she hopped onto the golf cart and broke through barricades to race toward the narrow back street to find the unmarked black car. Rafael returned his gaze to an empty room when Aaron and Eddy walked in to see what he was doing with Ruhi for so long. They saw him jump down the cliff and followed until he found the shoe. "Cinderella left sixpence for you." Eddy pointed to the coin inside the shoe. "I guess she needed good luck charms for running away."

I think a little distance would do good to them both. Hopefully she doesn’t get herself into trouble. He needs to pick her or Evie knowing what she’s going through. I love that Rafael’s character is consistent throughout, he puts in some effort and fails to not be the self absorbed person he is

I can’t tell you how much sleep I lost because I could not put this story down. Beginning to end this story keeps you at the edge of your seat. The LF is funny and quirky, kind of annoying, but this is her charm. Lots of action, a little bit steamy. I highly recommend this story!

His Runaway Angel

His Runaway Angel

Turning back to her, he said, “Toss.” No. There was no way she would do that. It had evidence she could use against him. He must have read her expression because he smirked. He adjusted his lapels and tie and smoothed the front of his tailored jacket. “We will do it your way then, podlyy kot.” Camilla didn’t wait to find out what those words meant. Only one word echoed in her head. Run. The moment Vanya lifted his foot, she was sprinting down the hallway. * * *GLOSSARY* * * Ubiraysya: Get out Podlyy kot: Sneaky cat

The Runaway Wife

The Runaway Wife

Letisha Hearst - Carter “Are you going somewhere far away, miss?” The driver asked after he dropped me off at the airport. Both of us peered at my pieces of luggage plus I am carrying this backpack behind my back as if I truly ran away from home. The thing is, I am really going somewhere far. I am running away from my married life, most especially my husband whom I loved dearly. I called a cab a while ago after packing my things in a flash. That is one of my greatest talents that only a few people know.

A Runaway Bride (English)

A Runaway Bride (English)

Without hesitation, I hopped into his car. I need her now. I'm thankful for having her. "Sorry if I'm late for your wedding. But I'm thankful because I wouldn't gain anything if I were on time since you're apparently a runaway bride. Haha, my tardiness still worked out perfectly because I saw you running like a fool in a wedding gown. Haha. You still look beautiful even as a runaway bride," he rambled on, thoroughly amused by my actions. I responded with a grateful smile.

The Runaway Groom

The Runaway Groom

So I chose to play the role of the unwanted girl from the countryside. Back then, without hesitation, I had secretly sold the downtown apartment. With the proceeds, I paid off the debts his father had left behind, giving him peace of mind to focus on his career. The rest of the money went toward covering his business losses and providing countless chances for trial and error. And finally, he made it. I had stood by him through it all—from a rented apartment to a home of our own. I had given up my youth willingly. But now I realize that self-delusion really is an illness.

The Don's Runaway Bride

The Don's Runaway Bride

' AMy heart was racing faster than my legs could carry me, and thanks to my stupid heels, I stumbled down the hallway leading to the entrance, nearly twisting and breaking my ankles by the time I reached the door. I stumbled outside and made a beeline straight to my car parked across the road. But my heels suddenly seemed like they weren't the best choice of shoes anymore because I kept tripping. They were definitely not meant for running across a not-so-busy road close to midnight. I managed to make it across the road, but my heels got stuck in a small but deep pothole that nearly took out my ankle. I was close to my car now, so I decided to dump the heels with the pothole. and get out befo

This book was a great read! Did have a bit of a slow start it seemed but it kept me intrigued. My only complaint was the female lead was very indecisive to the point where I wasn’t sure if the author made a mistake but all in all great read, good ending.
GIFT TEEY
Mafia stories often feature weak or fierce female leads, usually the former. But I love that this story gives us a truly fierce FL! Aria is incredible, and the chemistry between her and Pietro is undeniable. A brilliantly written story!

The Don’s Runaway Wife

The Don’s Runaway Wife

But loving someone doesn’t mean I have to stay. I won’t fight for a man whose heart already belongs somewhere else. So I’m stepping out of this story. From now on, our lives go in different directions. Then I turned off my phone. A few minutes later, the plane lifted into the sky. And just like that, I disappeared from Victor Moretti’s world.

Chasing My Runaway Bride

Chasing My Runaway Bride

“That’s because you don’t know me well.” “How could I, when you pretended to be something else?” “And when it was time to know the real me, you eloped. Just like that? Coward. You have a habit of running away from situations. But this time, if you run, I swear, you’ll regret it forever. You’re so quick to judge others without a second thought, clinging to your prejudices, but when it’s time to really face the truth, you vanish into thin air. Not this time. I won’t let you leave.”
