It wasn't that obvious by his tone, but he was really confused about what was happening. One moment, he was out partying with his friends. I said, ignoring her exaggerated laments. "For a house, yes, but for a small Beach vacation house.....I don't think so; this is not normal." She whispered dramatically beside me. I rolled my eyes.
