~ Collins pov~ Immediately after the tour,we went to our different homes,I made sure Flora was out of sight before following her. Am tired of all the crap going on,flora and this school.All the student blood especially Flora's makes me want to feast. I am only transferred to this because of what I intend to collect from Flora,just a little if her blood can do wonders. it can improve the strength of any vampires,it can heal a wounded wound. Flora stood in the big room still and astonished. No one was there, yet the crying sound was clear. Someone was crying for sure. She couldn't deny it! Flora walked into the room, trying to find the source of the sound, till her ear led her to the praying corner. Flora knelt by the books shelf and listened carefully to what came from it. The hypersensitive ear Flora never betrayed her. The crying sound was coming from behind the bookshelf. Flora opened the secret passage that she discovered days ago, then her blood ran cold.

She told Rosa how she found the secret passageway behind the bookshelves and how she discovered Dante sleeping inside the box of earth in the center of the secret room. Flora also told the cook how she ran away as she saw three of the boxes being opened. Rosa did not show any emotion as Flora talked. It was as if the cook already knew about it. Then, Flora told Rosa that she returned to the kitchen after being threatened by Eva that she could lose her job.

What I still had left to do. By the time I reached our dormitory, Evelina had already started packing. Sigils still thrummed quietly along the walls of our concealed closet, elegant script so fine the Eye couldn’t see them. She moved gracefully in the candlelight, efficient and deliberate. Books of enchanted parchment levitated next to her as she folded them carefully into a reinforced carrying case.

Fleur cries out. “It’s fine, you can ride on my back,” Seb tells her and he shifts. Drew following suite and I help Fleur climb onto Evan, Sebs’ wolf. He takes off running into the forest, Isiah, Drews’ wolf nudges me and I climb on his back. I used most of my energy trying to melt the bars. The little girl was very glad to get what she was searching for. Lexa went through the page that explained how to hide any scent, but the process was somehow strange to her, and she checked the book again to make sure she picked the right one. Is this book a joke or what? She questioned herself inwardly and shook her head. Lexa continued to read the page, but it was kind of difficult for her, cause she had no opportunity to get educated. The only way she got to know how to read was through her friends and some little teachings she did for herself.

I muttered, rocking Jodie. I had to let Flavia focus, so I stepped away from her and let my eyes roam around the section, hoping I would find a few books myself. Despite the countless eye-catching books with captivating covers in that section, I couldn’t shift my gaze off one particular book because it stood out to me. “Of course, it does,” Liya grunted as we both looked at the dirty and half-torn small book. “Anyone would have missed that because it is insignificant, but not you, Haylee.”
