The Secret Babies

The Secret Babies

Liam was going to kill him. “I came here because I found out Abigail works here”. Lucy said, ignoring his question. “And????” Damon asked. Lucy sighed. “I’m so sorry if I sounded rude Damon, It’s just that................” (Lucy leaned towards Damon’s table and whispered something to him for almost two minutes.) “Oh my God, Lucy, How could you keep such a big secret to yourself?” Damon asked furiously. Lucy shrugged. “I guess that’s why I was so determined to find out about Abigail’s whereabouts.”

I loved this story. It had a plot of why she left and didn’t come for 5 years. Abagail was a strong independent mother who worked hard to get a degree and money for her mom’s surgery. Lucy was the selfish less person. She knew Liam loved someone else and helped the two reunite with his twins also.

This was a great read within this short story the author was able to provide a great plot, descriptions, little drama with a twist and no evil exs to draw out the love. I really enjoyed it can't wait to read others from this author

Rejected Billionaire Alpha

Rejected Billionaire Alpha

“We find her next anchor. And we burn it first.” The next target was a hidden library beneath the old city of Edran—a city once ruled by seers, now a hollow shell of its past. The library was a relic, buried beneath wards that had been decaying for over a century. No one had entered it in decades. Not until now. They descended through tunnels, each step tighter, colder, heavier. At the base, they found the door: a silver arch embedded in obsidian. Rachel stepped forward. The arch opened. Inside, thousands of scrolls hovered in midair, floating between crystal shelves. Light flickered without flame. And at the center, a single pedestal. Upon it—a stone etched with the mark of the First Flame.

MY BROTHER'S BEST FRIEND

MY BROTHER'S BEST FRIEND

I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, because that's you and not me" I shrugged. He smiles at me genuinely. He pecked my cheek. "Why Sofia?" I asked. "Because......." He starts. "She is the one that start the fire in the library that day you were in it" he replied. "She joined hand with Carla" he spilled. I gasp. I can't believe she would actually do such a thing. "But.....how are you sure about that?" I asked. I mean, how would he have know so much like this.

I love the author's writing, and this is my third book. I love Isabella's character and her relationship with her brother. I am dying to know if Isabella will get her true love or if she will deal with heartbreak. Every chapter leaves me on edge, anticipating what will happen next. ...️

All I can say is give this book a chance. I didn't think I could like it but I kept reading it to see where it will take me, and once the chapters progressed there was no stopping very gripping events. I like the jumping to a few years chapters and flashbacks too. 98% detailed..

His Secret Obsession

His Secret Obsession

The second strategist followed shortly afterward, leaving me alone at the long wooden table with several open boxes and more history than I could organise in one afternoon. Outside the windows, Seattle had begun disappearing beneath the rain. The grey water and darker sky seemed to blend into one another, while the warmth of the library made the rest of the hotel feel distant. I became so absorbed in reading an old letter that I didn’t hear anyone approach. A coffee cup appeared beside my hand. I looked up to find Ethan standing across from me. He had removed his jacket and rolled the sleeves of his white shirt to his forearms. “Peace offering,” he said.

His Darkest Obsession

His Darkest Obsession

Sofia asks and I look up from my papers and shake my head at her. "These are the last ones before I suggest we start looking in the library!" I say when I close my notebook and push my tray away from me, I have eaten a bit but feel a little nauseous and can't get more down. "I'm done!" Sam says and closes her book while she sits back in her seat and we wait for Sofia to get done before we walk over to the library. "Who would tear the pages out of her diary?" Sofia says all of a sudden when we sit in the library with closed doors. We are in the middle of going through some journals, but nothing we have been reading is of any use to us.

The Secret Whisperer

The Secret Whisperer

There was no way around it—she had a date with dusty library shelves. The library wasn’t hard to find, thanks to the tourist map pinned up at the chalet’s entrance. Quaint and unassuming, it was wedged between a café and a souvenir shop selling overpriced snow globes. Hardly the setting for a conspiracy that could bring down European democracy, but Leila knew better than to trust appearances. She stepped inside, the scent of old books and mildew wrapping around her like bad memories.

Falling For Her Mafia Captor

Falling For Her Mafia Captor

While on her daily rounds, Sofia was dusting the elaborate furniture and cleaning the various rooms. With her breath held and her heart thumping frantically against her ribs, Violet observed from a discreet position in the adjacent hallway, hidden by a thick velvet curtain. At first, Sofia moved methodically, almost robotically, toward Aurora's desk. With her back to Violet, she picked up a quill and reorganized a pile of papers. Then, as though indolently, her hand reached for the book in which Violet had concealed the letter. She hesitated for a moment as her fingers touched the spine.

Mr. William's Rules

Mr. William's Rules

“Go on.” “I traced one of them,” Sofia continued, sliding a file across the table. “It led to a warehouse under a dummy corporation. I believe it’s connected to Mikhail’s network.” Adrian scanned the papers quickly, brow furrowed. “These are good leads. But they’re dangerous.” Sofia met William’s gaze steadily. “I thought you’d want to know.” Lily watched her carefully. There was something in Sofia’s posture—a stiffness, a tension—that suggested more than she was saying. But Sofia didn’t falter, continuing to outline shipment patterns and suspicious accounts. William listened intently, asking sharp questions, his mind already weaving strategies.

TEMPT ME, MASTER

TEMPT ME, MASTER

"But the library has very thick doors, Sofia. And I think you still have one more lesson to learn before I give him my report." The library was a big room with thousands of books and a very heavy oak door. My father was sitting at the big desk, smoking a cigar. He looked at me and smiled, but it was a scary smile. "Sofia, my princess," he said. "Marco tells me you have been... spirited. Is that true?" I looked at Marco. He was standing behind me. I felt his hand rest on my shoulder. His fingers squeezed just a little bit. "She is learning, Boss," Marco said. "She just needs a little more focus on her studies."

Chasing Sofia

Chasing Sofia

Finally, I managed to stammer, "W-Why didn't you ever tell me about her, Sofia? Why keep this secret hidden all this time?" Sofia's gaze met mine, and for a moment, there was a flicker of pain in her eyes. "You dare not talk to me about hidden things, Alex. You kept millions from me!” She yelled, her voice carrying a touch of sorrow. "Olivia and I... we share a complicated history, one that I've tried to shield myself from."
