My heart was racing in its cage, I was on a death list, over nothing. I had just learnt a rich man’s secret. "Come on, we need to get out of..." he couldn't finish talking. He was interrupted by the sudden trembling of his hands. "What's wrong?!" I panicked, listening to his breathing quicken.

“You said that she had a few other issues,” Benton stated as he was trying to process everything that the doctor had just told him. He was not facing the men and looking at him. There was something that most people didn't even get when it came to talking to him. Benton had a reputation of not seemingly caring about most people. One of the richest men in the world, and then it almost seemed like he had no interpersonal skills. Most people just felt happy to be in the same room as him, as if either his money or his intellect would be the thing that would make them rise up like a phoenix. He hated that more than anything.

When he saw the man get out of the car, he was instantly stunned into stammering, “That’s… I saw him on TV before. He’s the secretary to the richest guy in town, George Thomas! What’s he doing here?” The rest of them exchanged looks of utter confusion. The secretary to the richest man in Riverdale naturally had plenty of clout to his name. I held my smile in check and continued reading the blog. “No known relationship status.” That line caught me. He has no woman in his life? That’s surprising.
