Drowning In Their Silence

Drowning In Their Silence

My soul drifted like a feather in the air, watching the mansion shrink behind me. I felt like a ghost who didn't belong. In the corner of the staircase, my phone was still blinking with unread messages. Cassio's name was on the screen. "Sera, Natalie Portman is in Swan Lake tonight at Lincoln Center. I know she's your favorite dancer. Why aren't you here?" "Show's about to start. I'm in the VIP box. Waiting for you."

The Rogue Healer's Secret

The Rogue Healer's Secret

The sea fell into an absolute, unnatural silence. It was not a peaceful calm, but a heavy, suffocating silence. The rhythmic, hypnotic crash of the waves against the ironwood hull of the *Silver Dawn* completely faded until even the cresting ocean wind seemed to hold its collective breath. No sea birds flew overhead through the heavy crimson air. No fish broke the glassy surface of the water. It was as though the ocean itself fundamentally refused to disturb the sacred, primordial waters surrounding the legendary Temple of the First Moon.

Kiss Me While The Pack Burns

Kiss Me While The Pack Burns

A distant rumble shook the heavens. The crack above the city widened slightly. Everyone looked up. The darkness beyond reality was moving. Watching. Waiting. The First Silence. Nova felt it immediately. Not fear. Not anger. Curiosity. The First Silence was observing. Learning. Like it always had. The Third Silence noticed too. His expression hardened. "He's here." The First Memory nodded. "Yes." The city grew brighter. Silver light flooded the horizon. Then the world became quiet. Perfectly quiet. Every sound vanished.

A Second Chance: My Twin Mates

A Second Chance: My Twin Mates

Brynn I’ve always thought that silence was a friend. But tonight, it feels like an enemy. The forest around Silent Blues Pack, or what Josiah calls Crimson Pack, breathes in slow, heavy exhalations. Pine needles rattle with a wind colder than it should be, branches shifting like they’re whispering secrets they don’t want us to hear. Frynn and I run beneath them in our wolf forms, our paws swallowing the earth without sound, our breaths controlled and even though everything inside me is chaos.

The Twins He Never Knew

The Twins He Never Knew

The transition from the Anchorage to the mainland was like stepping out of a warm, vibrant dream into a cold, static-filled reality. Kael and Elara sat in a small, low-profile skiff, the hull reinforced with the same lead-salt infusion the "Unheard" used. It was a bitter irony: to find the source of the Silence, they had to become silent themselves. As they crossed the Strait, the Chorus began to thin. The rich tapestry of eight billion souls, the hum of the geothermal vents, and the comforting pulse of the Haida Gwaii lilies faded into a dull, distant ache.

SILENT BETWEEN TWO HEARTS

SILENT BETWEEN TWO HEARTS

she whispered. “I don’t either,” Henry replied, voice cracking. They stood facing each other, two broken hearts bound by the same ghost. Outside, the last ray of sunlight faded, leaving the room in twilight. And in that twilight, a new silence settled between them, one heavier, deeper, and more intimate than ever before. The silence between two hearts. Elena suddenly remember how she dead!

Bloodbound: The legacy of Serelai

Bloodbound: The legacy of Serelai

Fighting this life was the Silence. It was not an army. It was a wave. A creeping, grey front that advanced across the valley. Where it touched, the song didn't just fade; it was erased. The singing trees didn't just go quiet; they turned to brittle, grey dust in an instant. The roaring rivers didn't just slow; they vanished, leaving behind dry, cracked scars in the earth. The humming stones were silenced, becoming inert, dead rock. And leading the grey wave were the Weavers.

Marked by the enemy alpha

Marked by the enemy alpha

The dawn broke over Silent Ridge like a shroud of silver mist, cloaking the ancient forest in an unsettling silence. The name—Silent Ridge—had been earned through centuries of quiet, a place where the usual chorus of birdsong was conspicuously absent, and even the wind seemed reluctant to stir the leaves. This eerie calm, however, was not by chance. It was the breath before the storm.

Rise of the rejected Luna

Rise of the rejected Luna

The lake reflected the early sky, pale gold and silver, streaked with hints of pink. “Listen,” I whispered, guiding his tiny hand to the surface of the water. “Do you feel that?” He giggled, his fingers curling as the ripples spread out. My power hummed faintly, answering him, the energy responding to his innocent touch. The water glimmered for a heartbeat, not bright enough to startle, but just enough to shimmer with quiet warmth. “That is nature’s song,” I said softly, brushing a kiss across his forehead. “It is everywhere, even when it is silent. You just have to listen.”

His silent voice.

His silent voice.

Mirroring just as much thirst as the one persistently drying up his throat. “It feels illegal to do this at your house.” Dylan whispered over his lips. “So we can't be too loud.” He sat up, ^^Want me to put up a soundproof?^^ Dylan raised a brow at his suggestion and he went on to flaunt his powers again, he let a bubble form over his head like a transparent bubble. **Watch this.** He opened his mouth to let out a loud scream and his eyes blanked out as he realized his action. **Oh, wait– I can't speak.**

I am in love with this book! I am hoping that Kyle will increase his powers with his mate so that he can kick that evil witch in the butt.(Without spoiling the read). I think that a little more steam is needed. The steam that we did get was top-notch.
