Bleeding. SILENCE

The 'Signet' on her palm was bleeding, the red blood mixing with the sapphire light to create a terrifying, violet aura. "I don't want the Silence," Grace whispered. Her voice was no longer flat. It was a roar that caused the sails of the black junks to tear. "I want to hear the music! I want to hear Papa’s bird! I want to hear the rain!" The 'Standing Waves' in the river collapsed, sending a wall of water crashing into the shore. Vera Panni was knocked backward, her malachite cane flying into the mud. "You've ruined her!" Vera shrieked, her composure finally shattering. "You've unleashed the 'Shark' without the 'Saint'! She will tear the world apart!"

The silence of the pier suddenly felt oppressive, the sound of the water against the pilings like a slow, rhythmic drum. "What are you talking about?" I whispered. My voice felt small, swallowed by the vast, industrial emptiness around us. Silas leaned in, his face inches from mine. I could see the reflection of the harbor lights in his eyes, but they looked like twin fires in a dark forest. His voice dropped to a low, lethal vibration that cut through the wind and settled directly in my marrow.

Sofia was more drained when they got to the river separating them from the land of Ciranda. “Please let us through, I can't go down through the other path” she pleaded, but like always, the water did not bulge nor did it make any sounds. The birds and animal hollows usually heard from a distance were all quiet. This was very unusual. The lake was too calm to make a sound. “Still waters” Greggory whispered. Sofia suddenly stopped and gradually took steady steps behind as if being controlled. “Is the land awakening?” Greggory asked watching the still water but Sofia was far already seated in the car. He rushes over joining him. “What's happening? I know still waters do not exit without danger

Their silent presence in my vision was a chilling reminder of the buried memories that lay hidden within my mind, waiting to be unearthed. The spectral girl and the silent, drifting bodies created a surreal and haunting tableau. It was as if I had been transported to the very heart of my own subconscious, and this river was a conduit to my past. I see the wall and the floor shaking and everything seems to be blur. Agatha started pulling my head inside the left bucket filed with water. The cold freezing water wake me up back to the painful reality. I'm shaking my head from left to right and been trying to lift it up but Agatha's hand is too strong holding on to the back of my head.
