Her small hands gripped her mother’s arms tightly, her gaze fixed on the fight. And then, it happened. The little girl’s eyes began to glow. Not gold like Damien’s. Not blue like Lyra’s. But silver—bright, shining silver, like liquid moonlight. Lyra gasped. “No… not now…” The wolves froze mid-attack, their snarls dying in their throats. The glow in Isla’s eyes spread into the air, a soft silver light that seemed to pulse like a heartbeat. The snow glittered under it, the trees shivering as if touched by the moon itself.

Sharp cheekbones, full lips, eyes slightly tilted in a way that made her look both elegant and dangerous. But it was her eyes that held me captive. Silver. Not gray. Not blue. Not even a shade I could fully understand. Pure liquid silver, glowing faintly as if moonlight itself had been poured into her irises. Ancient. That was the first thought that came to me. Not old. Not mature. Ancient. Like those eyes had watched kingdoms rise and fall. Like they had witnessed wars, bloodshed, betrayal, and devotion long before any of us had ever existed.

Damien Silver’s eyes were wide open, and they were staring intently at her. Her shriek filled the room as she jumped away from him, shocked by what she had just seen. A few seconds later, she returned to his bedside, and his eyes were wide open, staring at her. He was indeed awake, and it was a miracle, one she had prayed earnestly for. “Mr. Silver, you are awake. Can you hear me?” She asked after regaining from the wave of shock that had flowed through her. He blinked but didn’t say a word, and then she noticed it - the disorientation in his eyes and the furrowed lines of confusion on his forehead.

The book was flat, with only a few pages, and that intrigued me even more. I opened the first page and began to read; “The Silver Bloods are a rare breed of werewolves, descended from the moon goddess herself. It is a line of only female wolves. Not that males are born from these females, but they never seem to inherit the qualities of their mother.” Interesting. There were special wolves out there that were more powerful than the norm. I turned a few more pages and stopped; “Characteristics: They appear fairly normal in their human form, except for their silver hair.”

"No need shifting. Just enter now. Don't worry; nothing bad will happen to you." I nodded, and then I quickly followed her words. Soon as I stepped into the barrier, a silver smoke shrouded me, giving me a pleasant feeling. I closed my eyes, enjoying the moment, and soon as I opened it, the reflection of myself reflected in the silver surface of the barrier. My hair changed color to a silver color; my eyes gained a silver color. My skin has become paler, but it has also been made translucent by my silver eyes. "Wow!" Rana's mouth dropped open as if she was surprised herself with all this beauty.
