His eyes were darting around, though they seemed to rest on the alarm system at the center's corner. "Prepare to leave," I ordered. My teammates started packing up our gear. Then, the moment we turned around, a shrill screech of the alarm pierced the silence.

There came a series of booming metallic clangs. The sudden tolling of the city bell snapped Selene back to her senses. It was the signal announcing the start of the annual riding and archery competition held by the city. In her past life, Selene had shone brilliantly in this competition. Because of that, she drew Alaric's suspicion and fear. "Since you dislike Zirion, then I won't force the matter," Vanessa said understandingly with a smile. Compared to earlier, she seemed to be in a far better mood. "After all, today is your big day."

Then she awoke from a drowsy state, hearing the shower running. She knew she should get up and start preparing a meal, but she was caught in a strange inertia. You just have not had the time to check the events of the day. If you did, you would have seen the latest celebrity of the nation. " " And who could that be?" " Captain Clinton of the United States Secret Service." Captain Clinton chuckled. " Spare me that. " " Here. Take a look at this. Sorry you are not watching the whole show. Just this important part. " He handed the laptop over to Captain Clinton.
