Dark eyes. Dark hair framing a face I had never seen before. Full lips. A small nose. Skin a few shades paler than mine had ever been. She looked young, maybe my age, maybe younger. Pretty in the girl next door type of way.

I flushed, before heading for the sink, I washed my mouth and then my face. I stared at the mirror and my pale, sickly looking skin stared right back at me, just as I was about to walk away, something caught my attention. I returned to face the mirror, unable to shrug off this feeling that it was a stranger staring back at me, this time, when I moved, my reflection didn’t.
