Betrothed (Book #6 in the Vampire Journals)

Betrothed (Book #6 in the Vampire Journals)

One side of the street was cosmopolitan and wealthy, while the other was still populated by farmers. The street itself was also a thing of wonder. Their feet nearly stuck in the mud as they walked, the dirt made even softer by all the foot and horse traffic. This in itself was bearable, but interlaced all throughout the dirt was excrement, from the packs of wild dogs, or, thrown out the windows, from humans. Indeed, as they went, shutters opened sporadically, and pails appeared, with old women throwing out waste from households. It smelled far worse than Venice or Florence or Paris. She almost gagged at times, and wished she had one of those small perfume pouches to bring to her nose. Luckil

The Alpha’s Regret: Torn between two Alphas

The Alpha’s Regret: Torn between two Alphas

Stella's POV The atmosphere was jolly, well, as jolly as a street full of the darkest of things could be. There were prostitutes, assassins, arms dealers and almost any expert of any kind of job you are looking for. It was like a whole new world here, there were lights everywhere and the streets were filled with sellers of various kinds of things. No matter what you needed you would find it here at Eclipse Street. The most dangerous criminals both in the human world and the supernatural world came here to make a new life for themselves, it was opened to everyone.

The Streets meet The Mafia

The Streets meet The Mafia

He thought of returning the money but the problem was that he could only get as far as across the street from the entrance of the hotel. But then again, he knew what would happen to him should he return the money; he stole from a man no one dared to steal from and he knew what he was capable of. He had seen how his men killed people on the streets and have heard a lot of things about Yuri. So, either way, he was as good as dead. Then he thought of how he has been struggling on the streets for years now, he thought of the cold tar on the side of the road he sleeps on, the dirty clothes he wore, and the trash cans he has eaten on.

I must say I loved this book. I didn’t think I would because it was a different mafia type storyline. However it was great, written well, characters were unique, and not long and dragging. Thanks author you are one of my favorites here. Keep up the great work and I will keep reading.
