“I think you, out of everyone in the world, need one person who can show you how to love again.” “And you think your cousin could do that for me?” she asked as she watched him as he thought about her question. The simple question was more than he had thought it would be. He knew it was two-sided at best. “I think my cousin could help you. I don’t know if it would be the key or not. I do think that he would help open your heart again in a way I don’t think anyone else can. You had someone like him before, so you understand.” Garrett said. “He is alone now. He needs help in life and people to love him back. For you, it may help both of you.”

The early morning sunlight pours in through the slightly parted rose-colored curtains, spilling onto the wooden floorboards. The bed creaks as I shift slightly, turning my gaze fondly to the cat snoozing peacefully beside me, running one hand over the smooth, sleek black fur. "Good morning, Berlioz." I coo softly, my heart swelling in my chest with inexpressible emotion.

It echoes in my head. I hug myself tighter and force the tears away. Leaning back into the seat, I look around the isle; Mum, daddy, and my little brother are sitting two rows behind me on the right side, while I’m on the left. The seat next to me is empty and the seat next to that is occupied by a man who I presume must be in his midfourties. I have the seat next to the window, and I couldn't be more thankful; it gives me a perfect view of the sky, nothing but a peaceful exapnse of blue that slowly begins to lull me to sleep...

My heart has never felt so overwhelmed with the feeling of love, acceptance and being cherished. He made me want to cry when he suddenly turned on one of my childhood favourite songs. He taught me how to dance with this song, it's a song by the beetles called ' Here Comes The Sun.'  The song on its own becomes all the more special at the moment, when he pulls me to my feet and we start dancing in the middle of the room. The biggest smile takes over my face when I hear him sing the song to me. At that moment, I truly feel like daddy's little princess.

He asked. I scoffed wondering if he was expecting me and the kids to starve and experience total misery... POEM BY MERCEDES. You are the sun that shines brightly throughout my day. You are the gravity that holds me down in every way. You are the moon that shimmers throughout my night. You are stars that glimmer oh so bright. You are the oxygen that keeps me alive. The wind chilled me to the bone, but the sight and people surrounding me warmed my heart. This is what she'd like me to see. For the very first time, I could breathe freely without thinking of anything. I aimed my camera at the bright sun that shone down on me. My Khali became the sun, guiding me every morning. She ensured that I would be warm and strong enough to face the day. When the darkness engulfed the light at night, she became my moon. She shone so brightly for me. It felt like I’m not alone. She’s here with me, in my heart.

But they cannot stop time. The sun rises and sets over our heads. Over our hearts. And every morning, I wake up and feel how strong you hold me. Every morning, I feel how strong your heart beats. Over and over again. Your hand, your face, your eyes. It's like a heartbeat. It' s my blood. My life force. Its power. It feels stronger, brighter. Stronger every day. And its love, its love is something that makes me smile everyday. Even as I sit here, writing these lines, looking into the mirror, telling myself I've got this. I'm okay. I'm fine. Just fine. But sometimes I need someone to tell me, so that it doesn't all go wrong…

“Oh! My shoulder is so cool. I know, my sweetheart is touching it. Will you touch my heart as well?” To this imagination, Sunshine’s heart is romantically taking it. Her mind treats it; to happen in the reality. To that, she feels at top of the heaven. Her mind is freshly desiring; to create another splendid image. However, the darkness has appeared out in the outside. Without any choice, her cold feet are now entering to the bed; to take her night off.

NELLY Aren't Sunday supposed to be as bright as the sun? Isn't it's night expected to be filled with beautiful stars? Then tell me, why am I sitting alone on the couch in my living room, surrounded by empty bottles of cheap beer. Tell me, why does my heart feel like it has been stabbed a million times and my eyes too heavy for me to open?
