Ashes to Desire

Ashes to Desire

She glanced back at us, her expression unreadable. “Then maybe it’s time you stopped running alone. The rain had ceased, leaving the city cloaked in a damp, oppressive silence. We navigated through the maze of deserted streets; Lena led us to a concealed entrance beneath a derelict overpass. The hidden door revealed a spacious underground chamber, remnants of a forgotten subway station. The air was musty but dry, a sanctuary from the perils above. As we settled around a makeshift fire, the flicking flames cast dancing shadows on the graffiti laden walls.

The Lyon's Cub Caitlin

The Lyon's Cub Caitlin

The innocence was all but gone, an innocence I didn't even know I still had. Now, after rescuing two girls from the clutches of hell, I don't think I can ever go back to being the same. I didn't realize until now how naïve I was. So naive that I didn't even know these things were still happening in the world. Most of the girls who weren't much older than Caitlin were running away from their home country to escape a regime that treated women like brood mares and second-class citizens. That's not the problem, them running away; the problem is the underground organization, a network of different groups that was supposed to help these girls find safe passage to a new life in the west, either her

Wages of Fear

Wages of Fear

They’d lunch with him in his private Diner and then board the Underground back to civilization. A yellow code came up. Dink coded himself to a deeper level and got to the heart of the matter. A slave ring in Israel had been shut down overnight by a commando raid on a network of brothels. Twelve hundred young women from Eastern Europe were liberated and secreted out of the country. That was a new one. For a fleeting second, he wondered if the green event and the yellow event had anything in common. But Shroud might tell him it was just another Cartel spat in the arena of the slave traffic trade, and that big money movers had quirky days.

The Endgame Chronicles

The Endgame Chronicles(The Apocalyptic Queen Theresa)(Supreme Survivor In The Zombie Apocalypse)

Who knew when the zombie babies might crawl in? So, their real base was underground. Before Timberfall was developed, an underground tunnel network was built as a wartime shelter. The passages connected several locations around Timberfall. Now, they served as a perfect hiding place from zombies. Whenever danger appeared, everyone hid below. The moment Hayley reached the underground level, more than a dozen men came into view. In the dim tunnel, a single unknown light source barely lit the place. She could just make out women trembling in the shadows behind the men, curled up like lambs waiting for slaughter.

Army Mom
Enthralling. Not my usual genre but the world building was so very detailed and descriptive it became an addiction. A wonderful one. The characters are alive in my mind and will live there for a very long time. Intense action and one hella intense super strong female lead! Highly recommend!

words just can't describe how I feel about this book, after the first read, I turned right around and started reading it a second time. I'm super tempted to read it a couple more times cause I'm so invested in the characters. 100% amazing read. WOULD DEFINITELY BUY IN STORE!

Curse of the Wolves

Curse of the Wolves

Azrael We landed in Leopolds tavern, a rundown brewery on the eastern side of Bargainer’s Bay. Those who frequented this place came for one sole purpose and it wasn’t the watered-down ale, or the chairs that would leave your ass riddled with splinters. No, it was for the entrance in the cellar. The one that led to a place the locals called, “The Underground”. We wanted to get things done quickly, anything to return to our mate’s side. I’d warned Orion against troubling her, as did Draco, but I knew he wouldn’t listen.

Absolutely love this book, couldn't put it down. I've honestly read it more than once haha. Any chance I can buy it in paperback? This is a great book, give it a chance you won't be disappointed. Love the characters, love the book, love it!

I love this story so much that I kept reading, not realizing it was already four in the morning, and I had to wake up to take my kids to school at 7. every story by this author is beautifully written and addictive, but I love the humor and the strong female character in this story the most.

Twisted Attraction

Twisted Attraction

“I found something.” Raja’s grip on the phone tightened as if he had been waiting for this moment. “They were known as the Crows. They ran the underground trade in that area. Small-time, but brutal. They sold people off for slavery in illegal auctions , extorted businesses, took what they wanted. Word is, a woman with a gambling problem sold her own kid to them.” Raja’s steps faltered. His breath came out slow. “Tales mother.” he wasn't asking, rather, the tone already know the answer.

The Witch's Bottle

The Witch's Bottle

This one was browned, stained, but had more legible words than did the first. "This is the survey and inspection notes of the church prior to WWI. You can see that there are eight rooms underneath, including one that is bricked off like a vault, that's what we call it now. The rooms were said to be unoccupied and basically wasted space. Some rooms connected but may have been used to hide someone or something. Perhaps they were built before the Civil War as part of the Underground Railroad, but that's total speculation."
