Daryl. He stepped onto the balcony like he owned it. He was barefoot, wearing nothing but a pair of faded jeans that hung low on his hips. His hair was still damp from his shower, strands falling messily across his forehead. His body looked so effortless. Daryl was the kind of man who didn’t even realize how dangerous he looked. His eyes locked on mine and the easy smirk on his lips disappeared. “What the hell are you doing out here?” he asked, voice sharp. Then his eyes locked on Lyra. “Leave us now.”

I exhaled shakily as the door to the closet was jerked open, revealing who I least expected but yet was grateful to see. My smirk was the first thing that greeted Daryl. "You didn't want a nameless wolf to do the job for you now, did you? I thought you wanted to get rid of me." Daryl's gaze was far from the teasing of mine. Blood dropped from his fingers as he stared at me, and that stare made my stomach heat up. Adele clung to me, too scared to even look at the mess below, her head was buried on my chest. "I want to go home," Adele whimpered.

There was moaning, tongue pulling, panty ripping which was another thing I was use to whenever Daryl gets wild. "Another one gone baby", he whispered deviously in my eat before taking off his boxers. My mouth watered at the sight. There was not a day I ever get tired of seeing or tasting him. His body was glorious and it was all mine. And that was the best thing ever. He placed my leg on his shoulder as he sucked a hickey on my neck. I gripped his hair and closed my eyes as I enjoyed the slow burn of him entering me. I bit my lip as he made his way inside all of me.

I mumble as I struggle to stay awake. “Time out, Jax is back!” The car screeches to a stop behind us and I hear the doors open and close. A jar of deep crimson is thrusted into my hands. The smell overwhelmingly enticing. “It’s deer blood, it was the best I could get without drawing attention.” “Let’s hope it works.” Daryl unscrews the lid and holds it to my lips. A single sip was all it took before I started guzzling it. The sweet metallic taste hitting every taste bud as it glided over my tongue and into my throat.

I backed away “Did you see her shift?” he asked, his hands loosening around Daryl’s neck as I nodded my head. His eyes softened. “You were not supposed to,” his brows furrowed together in a frown. Marcel and Daryl were about the same height, but Daryl wasn’t nearly as heavily built as Marcel, and undoubtedly not as strong. If he is the beta, then he would be one of the strongest people in the pack, second only to Slade. His eyes darted back to Daryl “You know what would happen if the alpha hears of this,”

This combination of innocent features and well-groomed charm created a personable aura around Daryl, a nice vampire who appeared more interested in connecting than intimidating. I couldn't help but notice this nice scent surrounding Daryl, a far cry from the adventurous aroma lingering on my more laid-back outfit. His hair was neatly combed, framing a face that seemed innocent at a glance, but those eyes held a hint of something deeper. As he stood there, cool as can be, watching me, Daryl exuded this quiet confidence. Hands casually tucked in his pockets, he stood in stark contrast to my chill style. It made me wonder if there was more to Daryl than just being a sharp dresser.
