I rinsed my mouth several times with the running water from the faucet before grabbing the dish towel and wiping it over my slightly swollen tongue. "What on earth is happening?" asked Mrs. Gustav. "My wife is allergic to walnuts," Marlon said with a hint of irritation. "Why the hell did you serve this poison to her?" "Hey man, calm down, she didn't know that," said Brad. "True, it's not like Miranda has a sign written on her forehead that she's allergic to walnuts," said Andrea, eating the cookies as if nothing had happened. "By the way, this is delicious!"

Hayley praised. "I used to take care of my father, so I naturally learned how to cook. Later, when I married Bellamy, I never had the chance to cook. Now that I'm back to living the life of a commoner, I remembered that I do indeed have the skills," Waverly chuckled softly and looked at Hayley. "Do you want to eat some chestnuts ?" Waverly took out a white plastic bag which was filled to the brim with chestnuts. "Chestnuts are rich with antioxidants. They can be eaten raw, roasted, or even used in soups and stews. I'll peel the skin off," Hayley volunteered.

Jasper was still acting stubborn. “If you have all that free time, you should eat more walnuts to give some supplements to your brain instead. You’ll be able to think clearly when your brain is functional,” Yadon said helplessly. He then called for a waiter to take their orders and deliberately ordered two sets of cashew nuts and walnuts for Jasper. “This woman is too arrogant!” Jasper’s expression was dark. “Hold on, let me ask you a question.” Yadon swiftly grabbed Jasper’s wrist when he noticed Jasper was going to look for trouble again.

She queried. “I placed an order from Windsor Corp and what I got was not what I paid for. First of all, I ordered dozen chocolate doughnuts with caramel glaze, sprinkled with crushed hazelnut and a pinch of sea salt.” The man was breathing harshly over the phone. Katherine gulped, she hated dealing with disgruntled customers. And this one was so pissed she was happy he was doing this over the phone and not in person. Katherine swiped her fingers over her computer to pull up the order and she realized that the mistake was hers. The order was filled with walnuts instead of hazelnuts. “Sir, again I am so sor…,” Katherine began, but was cut off.

Unaware of this disheartening news, Lora still happily played a few rounds of cards and successfully won a bag of walnuts. Seated on the bed with no tools to crack the walnuts, she strenuously used her right molars to break them open, laboriously prying the nutmeat out and consuming it. Almonds were quite rare because the trees that produced them were picky about the soil they grew in. Even in the Light Shadow Pack, there was only one almond tree, and only the royal family could eat its nuts when it bore fruit.
