The Warded Man Movie Novels & Stories

Its fingers alone were larger than towers. Black mist flowed from cracks in its skin. The Gatewalker immediately attacked. The two colossal figures collided. The impact shattered part of the city. Shockwaves rolled across rooftops. Entire districts vanished beneath falling debris. Even from this distance, the battle felt unreal. Nobody in the tower spoke. Nobody knew what to say. Eventually Rowan whispered the question everybody was thinking. "What in God's name is that?" Elara's face became grim. "One of the Wardens." The answer raised even more questions.

If anyone could dig up Daveson's secrets, it was him. Which meant Leonard needed to make sure Wendell never filed that report. At 7 AM, Leonard was waiting in a coffee shop in Lower Manhattan when Marcus Wendell walked in. The investigator was exactly what Leonard expected, mid-fifties, conservatively dressed, the kind of man who could blend into any environment. Wendell ordered a black coffee and sat down at a corner table, pulling out his laptop. He didn't notice Leonard watching him from across the room. Leonard waited ten minutes, then approached.

SPENCER'S POV "Teves! You have a visitor!” The Warden announced to me. So I got up from my bed today. I did nothing else here but sleep. "Spencer, you have visitors?" asked the old man next to me in the same bed. His name is Manuel. I nodded and then met the Warden, now who was staring at me evilly. Maybe it's because I've been there for a long time. The baton at his side is what I focused on before he turned around and then I now followed him in step.

But since they had an encounter, not just a small encounter with the vampires who had to scatter the whole villages and killed some of the individuals there, that's when the whole thing changed and they began to be observant even at night hours as well. Willard wandered around, to check if some of the guards were still at their duty posts even the person he assigned to stand at the gate, was seen sleeping on duty, and the funniest thing is that he came with his mat and he spread it at the side of the gate then covered himself so well because of the weather that was so fucking cold. Then as he got over there, he, first of all, looks for water, as he tiptoed to his spot, where he was sleeping,

I lost my balance and fell against the metal rack behind me that held our equipment. There was a loud, metallic thud. My right shoulder hit the sharp corner of the solid metal rack. A pair of ice skates with razor-sharp blades slid down toward me, neatly slicing into my right wrist. The searing pain that felt like cracking bones and torn flesh instantly overwhelmed me. My vision blurred as cold sweat soaked my back almost immediately. However, Ian didn't even spare me a glance. He picked Katie up instead, his eyes filled with ruthless malice. "You'd better pray that Katie is alright, Claude. Or else, I'll make you wish you were dead."

And judging from their short interactions, Cobb seemed like the type to drain another person of their very use to the very last drop before he would do them any favors. “I will make you give me a name. If I have to do the unimaginable, then I will,” Rein thought as the door let out a deep groan when she pushed it open. And true to her warning, most of Cobb’s men lie bleeding on the ground. What appeared to be a large storage facility was now turned into a slaughterhouse. And facing her by the entrance was the Evander Don holding a man up by his head, using him as a shield against whoever opened the door.

"No!" The bald man wiped the sweat off his face while issuing instructions, "Order the sentries to put away their guns immediately. No matter what happens today, no one is to act recklessly. If anyone dares disobey, I'll skin them alive! Also, inform the gate guards to open the doors immediately. No one is to obstruct him. Where he wants to go, let him go. " After speaking, the warden hurriedly left the monitoring room. The newcomer was puzzled. "Who is that guy? Why is the warden so terrified of him?"

“You can’t be serious.” Wade’s smile hardens into something that could have been mistaken for tenderness if you were not watching him entirely. He presses a button on the small remote he keeps on the table. A screen on the sideboard glows to life. On it, like a bad dream replaying, is footage of a garage — nothing ornate, just concrete and the kind of unremarkable overhead light that hides more than it reveals. Two men in dark jackets move across the frame. A car door opens. Adrianna slips inside, gathers something. The camera angle is rough, the image grainy, but the meaning is unmistakable.

"I don't even know this man. Other than being our master's father. Why do I have to carry his name?" "Shh," Lucille muttered, "Wardens are watching." Sure enough, the wardens, dressed in black leather armor and holding silver-tipped sticks, patrolled the area. A young omega refused to hold her placard, her tail tucked between her legs in fear. A warden stomped forward. "Lift it, or get hit!" She whimpered, shaking her head. Whack! The stick landed on her back. She howled in pain and dropped to the ground. Others quickly raised their placards higher.

The silver bolt in his shoulder throbbed, but it was the sound of the Wardens’ approach that sent something darker humming in his blood. A figure slipped to his side — a thin man with pale hair tied in a knot, two curved daggers in his belt. “You know how to fight, Vael?” he asked, teeth flashing in a grin that didn’t touch his eyes. “I get by,” Killian said. “Good. Because if you freeze, I’ll slit you myself before the Wardens do.” The man vanished into the fray before Killian could answer. The first breach came fast — the outer doors gave way in a spray of splinters, and a dozen Wardens poured in. Their mirrored masks caught the green light in blinding flares, making them look like walking
