The Witch Hunter System Novels & Stories

everyone says slowly. “When I was doing research to look for possible weaknesses of mythical creatures, I read a hunter case from a long time ago about a witch that could cast a curse or hex on people she didn’t want spilling her secrets. Any time that one of those people started to talk, they would go still then all of sudden seizure out and die. I think whoever this witch is has done something like that.” This was also when I was researching mates, but they didn’t need to know that. “That would explain why they won’t talk, even after being tortured,” Dean said.

"...search the west side! The witch was spotted near the Hollow!" Her stomach dropped. Hunters. There were at least six of them, torches flickering through the mist. She recognized the sigil on their armor - the golden hawk of the Sanctum, the Church's personal witch-hunting order. Kael looked back at her and muttered, "Stay quiet." One of the hunters moved closer to her tree. His boots crunched the leaves, his torch lighting up her hiding place. Seraphina pressed a hand over her mouth, trying not to breathe too loud.

Caleb said and then the Witch Doctor says, “None of my kind either.” Caleb pulled his phone out and called a number putting the phone on speaker. Hunter answered the phone and Caleb told him what had happened. “Shit.” Hunter says on the other end of the line. “I’ve been tracking a group of Wolf Hunters in the area. I thought they went north but they must have changed course. I’ll be down your way by morning with my warriors.” He said as he hung up and I knew this wasn’t good if Hunter had been tracking them.

"For all we know, they're setting a trap." "I don't understand." Kaida eyed the two of them. "What do you mean by hunters?" "Witch hunters," Fiona barked. "Exactly as it sounds. It's an organization started centuries ago by, who else? The Meaths. Their only purpose is to kill our kind, those with pure magick. They have countless others in the fold now." Ice shot up Kaida's spine. "You can't be serious." "Do I look like I'm playing Candyland?"

Hunters…Is this a coincidence that all enemies are now appearing out of nowhere? Hunters are mostly vengeful witches or gifted humans who hate werewolves to the point they come to hunt us down. I remember they attacked us once when I was nine years old. Those hunters breached our border using scent hiding spells and then killed many pack members with silver bullets fired from shotguns. The damage was severe, but my father had managed to kill every single one of them with the help of the previous Alpha King as it was impossible to fight them alone. My heart sinks as I look at Matthew. He wont get hurt right?

Out of about 20 plus packs, Only five are left standing, with mine being the largest. For the last nine years, since the hunters started growing stronger, I've been trying to find out what led to their strength, but I keep coming up with nothing. I've even gone as far as sending some of my wolves to pose as human hunters just to get intel on why they are getting stronger, but so far none of them have come up with tangible information other than the fact that some little girl is their current leader and she's the one arranging everything, including recruiting other hunters from different continents. "Did Callisto and Maxwell report back anything?" I asked, going over to my wine cabinet and ta

“Holy sh^t, man. What are you doing in here?” “Taming the beast,” the Hunter answered. “Do you have to do it so loudly?” the second guy asked. “I’ll not have my motives questioned by a witch,” the Hunter snapped. “It’s done. She’s bound and positioned like you need her to be for the procedure.” The witch moved into a position I could see what he was doing. He regarded me with interest. “You’ll need to take of the silver collar,” he said. “She needs to have access to her power in order for me to take it.”

“That was impressive, “ I know right? Adrian said as they walk towards the witch hunters. where is the man you cannot? Maddie asked. We will never tell you, demon filth, one of the witch hunters said. well, if you are not going to tell us, I guess I am just going to have to take it from you. Madison said as she pressed her fingers on her forehead. Madison used her telepathy to probe the minds of the witch hunters, forcibly taking the information that she seeks from their consciousness. As the witch hunters screamed in agony, Madison continued probing their minds until she had found what she needed from them.

"None of us have anything to do with witchcraft!" Jamie ignored her, waving over a cloaked figure that emerged from the shadows. The witch hunter. His face was gaunt, with sunken eyes that gleamed with malice. He stalked toward us slowly, like a predator assessing its prey. The witch hunter approached Aunt Arya first, sniffing the air around her as though he could sense magic just by being near it. Aunt Arya stood tall, her chin raised in defiance, though I could see the flicker of fear in her eyes. "She's clean," the witch hunter muttered after a long pause, moving on to Maria.

She crawls out of the reach of his grasp and over to us. “Someone help him!” She cries out as I pull her into my arms. Atticus charges in; there was no way the Hunter was getting away this time. As the Hunter doges blow after blow, I find myself amazed at their movements. It’s like this person was trained from birth to do this, to face furious monsters head-on. Finally, black smoke starts to snake up Hunter’s body, and he’s swallowed by darkness. “The Witches…” I said, knowing that they had helped him escape, but why? Were they not considered monsters as well to the Hunters?
