All so she could fuel her addiction to power and blood lust and rule the Underworld with the worst kind of monster. "Ren, get up. We got a debriefing before we send out the next line of scouts." Hunter's deep voice vibrated through my bedroom door as he made his rounds.

The poor schmuck did not know of the hidden security cameras and heat sensors installed within tree trunks across campus. As the sensor detects body heat far higher or lower than normal human temperature, it sends a signal that triggers an automatic tranquilizer gun pointing to the exact coordinates of the heat or cold source. With four tranquilizers launched from different directions at once, the wolf was captured, savagely tortured, and brutally killed. Indeed, ignorance is bliss until it gets you killed. Higgins added. "Yes she did. Your first few turns might prove... difficult for you to come out of. Like if an unwanted pregnancy were to happen then it wouldn't be so easy to go back from it. You wouldn't know how to handle it, especially without guidance."

Out comes ten human men stretch that they were human but something more. “Rex? What the hell are you doing here?” I asked the man I recognized; he was a client of the witch, she sells his boss equipment, spells, and potions. They were Hunters who hunt supernatural creatures and auction them off to the highest bidder. Did Urrale send him here to betray me. I knew she couldn’t be trusted. Rex smiled and me but didn’t speak, another figure came from behind him with an evil grin on his face. “Well, we are here on some official elder business, but who would have thoug

"Let's get those damn trackers out of us." We waited an extra day, just in case more came. The mountain remained eerily quiet, the snow undisturbed except for the tracks we had left behind. By the time the sun began to dip behind the trees, casting long shadows across the frozen ground, we were packing up and heading down. The whole thing felt wrong. Orin. Jade. Werewolf hunters turning into what they hunted? All of it felt off. What was the point of it all? The truck came into view, buried under a layer of snow, and I couldn’t have been happier to see it.

“You fools think you can contain me? I am far more powerful than you can comprehend! Release me now, or you shall face the consequences!” The chief and his hunters stood resolute, unaffected by the witch’s threats. They had faced numerous foes in their quest to protect the innocent from dark magic, and they were prepared for any challenge. With precision and coordination, they approached the captive witch, binding her with chains forged from enchanted silver—a material that weakened her powers. The witch struggled against her restraints, her attempts to break free futile against the combined strength and skill of the witch hunters.
