Cyrus answered truthfully. "You said something about a prophecy, right?" I asked Cyrus. "Yes, Zeta." He bowed. "What was it about? Do you have any idea? According to the prophecy, that wolf was going to save the entire werewolf race. This must have been what made the wolves think the witches were plotting something against them. We have all been awaiting the birth of the mighty wolf and living in fear of what awaited the future of our race." Cyrus explained.

I jumped in, sounding a bit hopeful in the middle of all this darkness. Michael's face turned serious, like he knew something important. "The prophecy," he began, his voice sounding respectful and sad, "talks about a special wolf born in a specific family – a wolf with the power to break Swiftclaw's connection to those dark forces. This wolf is supposed to bring light and fight against the darkness that's been a problem for a long time." His words hung there, like they were full of potential and meaning. My heart raced as I figured it out. "So, you're saying I'm that wolf?" I said, almost too quietly to hear.

I said, my voice barely above a whisper. Alpha Red's eyes narrowed, his interest piqued. "What was the prophecy?" he asked, his voice low and urgent. I hesitated, unsure of how to reveal the truth. But I knew I had to tell him. "The prophecy said that our child is the Light Wolf, destined to bring balance and harmony to our world," I said, my voice trembling. "But there's another, a Dark Wolf, born to destroy the universe alongside our child if they ever bond.”

Spotting Selene and Zara nearby, I marched over to them, my patience worn thin. “What aren't you telling me?” I demanded. “What's this prophecy everyone keeps whispering about?”

But for the first time since the current generation, it generated a prophesy - one that was pretty dreadful. It warned the wolves to be weary of a certain woman that had the power to bring an end to the existence of the wolves. In it's words, this woman was highly dangerous, and her blood would be more deadly than wolfsbane. And in her was bestowed the power to wipe every wolf from the surface of the earth. Every wolf pack in the world had been terrified since then and working tirelessly to know more about this prophesy and who the said person was. It was their biggest threat at the moment.

I replied, scooting to be closer to her. “Amoux is a wolf spirit, chosen to live in the vessels of those he thinks are worthy of his strength. He is the Alpha of said pack, the most dangerous rogue wolves in the woods. It’s known that he has killed many innocent wolves from different packs, just to send a message to those who dared challenge him.” I tried to breathe when she read the last part. Margery had put a killer wolf inside me.

Michael Whitlock POV; Spirit walkers are powerful among other wolf packs. This is one of the first things that they learn at a young age, and as they grow older it becomes more common. They could destroy entire armies in the blink of an eye and still stand proudly, as if they were never even in the field to begin with. They are not only strong but also smart; they are very well trained and have excellent senses. They can sense a person' location from miles away. There is something else they can do which is much more dangerous to humanoids.

I said seriously. “But, what do you want to confirm?” Maya asked concerned. “I need more insight on the prophecy,” I stated. “What prophecy?” Nelson asked. “The prophecy about the wolf with black fur and blue eyes,” I responded. Maya and Nelson looked at each other and burst out in laughter “You mean the folktale that is told to pups to make them scared so they won’t go round the barriers?” Maya asked with a hint of smile on her face. “Except it isn’t a folktale,” I said seriously.
