The Wolfs Plea: Brothers Seek Forgiveness Novels & Stories

"The Red River wolves are here. They want to speak with you." I sat up, pulling the furs around me. "All of them?" He nodded slowly. "Their leader. And others. They want to know what comes next." I took a breath. "Then let's go." --- The Red River wolves were gathered at the edge of the camp, their faces pale, their bodies tense. They had come to surrender, to ask for mercy, to beg for a place in the new world we were building. Their leader stepped forward, her head bowed, her voice soft. "Luna. We've come to ask for your forgiveness."

I whimpered with pain and need , I was about to howl The males behind me growled, restless, driven wild by the scent saturating the air. “Guilty.” The word slices clean through the meadow. No argument. No excuses. My wolf stumbles in confusion. Fight. But he doesn’t. I search his face for deception. For manipulation. Each wolf spoke aloud the name of the one they most needed to forgive—even if it was their own—before casting the stone into the stream. The water carried the words away, rippling outward, carrying pain into the distance, leaving peace behind.

“Look at them! Look at what our precious father did to them!” “You know it's not his fault!” Aria shouted back. “No, it's not. It's mine. I forgot about them. I trusted him to keep them safe—that was the promise!” I stood in the dark, understanding nothing. “I let them cut me in half just so my brothers could live. But look at them. Look what they did.” The Wolf’s voice cracked through the hall like a whip, silencing the Council lords. He was vibrating with a cold, focused rage that seemed to hum in the air.
