Three women walked in. For a moment, no one spoke. They were not what I expected. I had imagined older women. Women with white in their hair and the heavy stillness of those who had spent years looking into things other wolves could not see. Women like Ally. Women who entered a room with quiet power, not because they wanted attention but because they had seen enough to no longer beg for it.

Adrian warned her while rushing to meet his Gwen. Helena went back to the chair where she kept her bag and brought out copies of newly photocopied papers and walked up to me, forcing the stack into my hands. "Take a look at these things and tell me exactly how innocent this woman is!" She yelled while pointing at Gwen whose mouth hung low. "Ryan, listen Gwen and I -" "Don't believe anything she tells you, they are going to be nothing but lies!" Gwen yelled and her body trembled as she spoke.

Theo nodded and left. Elara appeared with the women's council. Twenty-one women. All the ones from Sisters' Haven. "We've prepared our testimonials," Elara said. "Want to hear them?" "Go ahead." One by one, the women spoke. About exile. About what they'd lost. About coming back. About opportunities under Jasmina's leadership. It was powerful. Honest. Real. "That's good," Jasmina said when they finished. "Really good. Just remember - keep it factual. Don't embellish. The truth is strong enough."

Her figure was curvy as if she had walked out of a comic book. She could really be described as a young girl with a mature woman’s body. For the two women, one was a cold woman, and another was a cute loli. They were different kinds of women, but they emitted the unique charm that belonged to women. Nipper and Jaguar stared at each of the women, and they were drooling. These two women were excellent. They considered it a great score if they could casually pursue any of them. If they could get both of them, they would feel extremely prideful when they brought these women out!

Steven notices this and sets down his pencil. “Something wrong?” he asks. I gnaw on my lip before answering. “Do you really think a woman can’t be a warrior?” Steven sits back in his seat. He scratches the underside of his chin. He looks incredibly uncomfortable. “Well,” he starts. “Historically, there’s never been a reason to have one. Women were always as less strong than men. Statistically, it’s true with about only thirty-percent of women being able to compete on the same level as normal men.” He cocks his head. “Warriors are the top tier men, amassing one-point-seven-eight-percent of our population. So to be a woman warrior, you’d have to be in the top point-oh-five-percent of all women

"Let's get real. You're just a woman, stop living in a fantasy." A single brow arched, Amelia met his stare. "Who says women can't achieve something?" Arms folded, Coen scoffed. "Have you seen the world's wealth rankings? Count the women, if you even find any." Serenity never left Amelia’s face. A meaningful smile lingered as she replied, “People only see what others allow them to. There's always more going on behind the curtain than you realize."

As you can already guess, seven of them were members of Leah’s group and the remaining three were Fiona, Lami and Ariel. It was going to be a very tough one, especially since Fiona ranked fifth.

Slate's POV---- I looked back down the stairs searching for the woman who smelled like cedar and honeysuckle. "We have to keep our distance for awhile until we can get them alone to explain to them what is happening," Minerva whispered beside me. I glanced at her to see a smile plastered on her face but eyes searching for her mate. I took another look across the bottom floor when I caught the eye of a beautiful human. She had blonde hair and piercing green eyes. She had a simple lavender dress that hugged all of her curves just right. "Mate," said Erebus.
