Please Then the world went black.

When they finally opened, the light burned, weak, but blinding to me. The world didn’t come back all at once. It crept in, like morning light sliding through a crack. The ceiling above me was blurry, a pale color I couldn’t place. It shifted and swam in my vision as if I were underwater. My lashes felt heavy as I blinked, over and over, but the blur remained. Everything was so still. Too still.

“Whaaatt...” And then the world went blank.

But his frame was blurry. Then, it was a blackout.

I was trying not to shake. "Okay," he said. "Open them. Slowly." I opened my eyes. The world was blurry at first, like looking through a fogged up window. Colors and shapes and light all smeared together into something that did not make sense. I blinked, and blinked again, and slowly, like a camera finding focus, things started to become clear. The ceiling. White tiles with little holes in them. A fluorescent light that was too bright and made me squint. I could see it. I could actually see it.

my lips trembled as I spoke. As my breathing deteriorated, my teeth chattered. I was getting colder, and it was difficult to utter more than a single word. Faces blurred in my vision. The world all around me faded into silence like a silent movie. Just like how a camera’s lens shifted out of focus, the picture became smaller and smaller, fading into black.

DAISY I felt like I was floating in a limbo for what seemed like an eternity and then suddenly, I was sprung back into life. I was confused for a moment, my eyes looking around to see what was going on but my eyesight was blurry. I could not see well, all I could feel was the clamour around me and the feeling of the dusty air. It felt as if there was a war going on. I couldn’t open my eyes well enough to see, and then I realised that there was someone who could help me with that.

The edges of the world blurred. And then— Darkness.
