I might not have succeeded earning-wise, but the love and support I received (along with berating comments, which again made me happy because I think the story kept such readers invested enough to feel that way, which is a good thing in my vision as an author) from all of you is enough. Sometimes, some things should be done for your happiness. And I did exactly the same with this book. I WROTE IT FOR MYSELF. I took this as a challenge because each time I opened the doc to write chapters for this book, that night I last saw my dad alive would flood back in my mind. I was scared to even think about this book. I was truly horrified and went into a state of depression that I couldn't even share

Knowing that these characters meant something to you, that their emotions, struggles, love, and growth resonated, means more than I can properly put into words. If in some way you didn’t like the route I took with this story, I hope you can understand that, as a writer, I can’t please everyone. I wrote this book in the direction I felt it needed to go in. To some, that might have been the wrong direction, but to me it seems just right. I am by no means perfect, and I intend to keep on working hard to ensure I get better. I hope to make each book better than the last. Thank you to those who read quietly without commenting. I appreciate you as well.

Dear readers, Long time no see Welcome to the year 2024. I wish every one of you a great year ahead. May this year be the year you accomplish great feats. Thank you for walking with me throughout the journey of this book. I have made numerous blunders and errors and have fallen short of what a writer should be, and yet here you are still following my book's journey. I would try not to disappoint you much this year, keep my errs at a minimal level, and give you a wonderful book experience.

I felt like I was finding closure, and moving forward. And as the days turned into weeks, and the weeks turned into months, I began to feel like I was emerging from my journey. I felt like I was coming out of the darkness, and into the light. I felt like I was finding myself, and discovering my purpose. My book was becoming a reflection of my journey, a testament to the power of healing and growth. And as I typed the final words, I felt a sense of pride and accomplishment. I had done it. I had written my story, and I had shared it with the world.

Writing this book has been a roller coaster of emotions for me and I hope I was able to do justice to the characters and to all of you who read the story, felt what the characters felt, rooted for some of them, and hated a few. I am still a novice writer and there is a lot for me to learn and improve. In these past few months, I have received a lot of love from you all which was my biggest dream; to be recognized as a writer. I hope you are too, and would be ever so humbled if you let me know what you thought of my little part two. Being able to explore my characters through their own points of view was an eye opening experience, and I hoped you loved tuning into Dalton, Kendra, and Jake's thoughts just as much as the lead's, Hollis and Whitney's. Despite this book taking five months to write, a month less than two of my other novels, "Not All Who Wander Are Lost" is by far my longest book, nearing 600 pages. I couldn't avoid it since there was so much I wanted to cover, and there are no regrets.
