Ken’s eyes met Kunle’s, a silent apology flickering there. “Bro, I have to go. My dad… he wants me at home. But listen, there’s something I need to discuss with you. I’ll come over tomorrow after work, alright?”
Kunle nodded, masking the lingering sadness with a faint, understanding smile. “No problem, my guy. You know I’m always here for you.”
