We went toward an office, a home office, it's a big office that has many bookshelves in it, Milo went to search for a book while Theo took a seat on the chair and groaned, I stood next to Milo searching, or at least pretending to, I had no idea what we're looking for. Milo handed me a book and then a second one, the titles didn't say souls for dummies, or how to be in a poly relation, they had strange titles that I didn't really understand.

Today they weren't there, and Theo walked to the pickup area alone, scanning for my car. He found it, and his face did the small shift it did when he located something he'd been looking for. Not a big reaction. Just a settling. I unlocked the door and he climbed in, dropping his bag on the seat beside him with the thump of something heavier than expected. "What's in the bag today?" I asked, pulling forward as the line moved. "Books Daniel lent me," Theo said, buckling himself in with the automatic competence he'd developed. "About dinosaurs. He said I could keep them until Friday."

Theo's influence was everywhere, even in the smallest details. My eyes landed on a low shelf near the window, in what was supposed to be my study, and my heart stopped for a moment. Books. Not just any books—my books. The entire series I’d once mentioned offhandedly during one of our teasing arguments about taste in literature. Theo had remembered. I crouched to touch the spines, running my fingers over the titles. What did it mean, really? That he listened? That he cared? Or that he simply didn’t know how to set boundaries when it came to fixing things he thought were broken—like me.

Xavier asked, ducking to try and see the nameless cover. "A meteorological with Fey knowledge book." I said absently as I turned the pages, Theo had taken the book, wrapping his arms around me and held it open in his palms for me like a stand. I chuckled softly, nuzzling his chin, his beard frizzing my hair and kept looking. I found the page I needed.

All day it was misfortune for him, and when he thought goddess of luck has smile upon him it turn out it fucking useless old book. still, Theo clutch his heart and started reading the old book, thinking that what surprise he might get after all it was freaking diary of an cultivator. He doesn't know how powerful was that cultivator. Theo started reading the book again, after reading for sometime there was frustrated look in Theo face, anybody who read the book will understand Theo frustration. Raff looks shocked at the accusation and a bit scared. “Woah there princess! No one went through your things or read your spell book. Just hear Raff out, then you can explain what your spell book has to do with you being more fae than we thought,” Aiden says, stepping to block Raff from her wrath if she unleashes it.

It would be a big help if she can ask him about what he had said yesterday. Soheila opened the door and felt that Theodore was the only one inside. She went towards her room and smiled when she saw Theodore reading a book again in the bed. He really likes to read books. “Reading again?” Soheila lay beside him on the bed. “What are you reading?” Theodore glanced at Soheila and put down his book on the counter nearby. “It's about the history of this world.” He fixed his position so that Soheila would be comfortable. “How's the contest?”

I had questions, but I didn’t ask anything because I wanted him to be done. “She called me a few hours ago to tell me that one of her spell books was missing.” “Okay? What does that have to do with my pack and the threat that you are talking about?” I asked him because I couldn’t see the correlation. “It has everything to do with it because Theo took that spell book, and it’s her most dangerous spell book. Theo took it, and she is scared that he might have used it because she taught him a spell when they first met. A dangerous spell that might have helped him.”
