Novel & Cerita There And Back Again Bilbo Baggins Book

That thought alone makes me relax a little at his presence. The bus jerks forward, causing my bag to slide off my lap and the contents to spill all over the floor. “Ugh,” I growl as I bend over trying to scoop up my mess. Leaning forward the elderly man picks up my book of spells and hands it me. “That book appears very old,” he says as I stuff it back in my bag. “Uh,” I stumble over my words. “Yeah, it is all I have left of my family.” It is not exactly a lie.

He thumbed through the first chapter as it told the story of the legend of the giants, and all about how the giants and forest people came together there hundreds of years before. He had already heard that story a thousand times, so he looked at some of the drawings and illustrations, and then he moved on, turning each page with reverence and care. He certainly did not want to damage the book or its pages in any kind of way. It was far too old and much too sacred to abuse it.

It’s gone from a shiny gold color to that of iron, making it stand out on the cover. When Buppig comes in, he has a plate of food. “Here Princess, when you didn’t come to breakfast, I wanted to make sure you got some food.” “Thank you, Buppig.” I say as my stomach begins grumbling loudly. I’m just about to show the book cover to Buppig when Ailduin walks into the room. “Leave us.” He says quietly, his eyes holding mine. From the corner of my eye, I see Buppig look at me before he bows his head and walks out of the room.

“No, right? I’m moving in public spaces. I’m eating food. I’m trying to forget for a few hours that there is someone hunting me down.” He just gives me a disapproving look before glancing at the sky, “It’s getting late. We’re returning to the inn.” Grumbling under my breath, I make sure to buy a few more snacks before following him back to the inn. Balin is resting when I enter, and he sits up. I just head to my side of the bed and collapse in it. I’m also tired but seeing other people around me has somewhat made me feel a bit more relived. However, the old witch’s words are eating at me. None of what she said made any sense. If felt like broken riddle pieces meshed together.

"Nate should have drawn that unnamed bench instead of that Cedar bench." "Mr. Bro? Is that you?" Cela asked. "Who else knows the story that started in this waiting shed but me," Mr. Bro said. "Oh my goodness. How long has it been?" she asked. "I don't want to count the days and years. The important thing is you are back and you look so much better than the last time I saw you in this campus," he said. "That was one dramatic part of my life. I feel embarrassed just thinking about it," she said.

L Chapter Seventy Two: Hope in the Silence Zarina's POV It was a cold night when I returned. My feet ached, my heart was weighed down, and my clothes reeked of the forest that I had walked through. But I did not care. I held the little bag of cloth from the old woman to my chest like it was a matter of life and death. Inside it was the powder. The book stayed in the other hand. The pages were yellowed and had the scent of time itself. I had read only one page, but it had all the answers that we were looking for.

I say slowly, thinking about what I just heard “It does,” Charles says and he starts to open the backpack he has by the side of the chair he is sitting on. “I knew that she would not believe me, so I brought the book…” he struggles with the bag for some time and after a little back-and-forth, he brings out an old book with thick ancient back. He blows off the little specs of dust on the book before he starts to open up the page pages.

Soup thickens, bread rises higher, laughter creeps back into the corners. One afternoon, as sunlight cuts sharp through the pines, Bram returns—filthy, exhausted, but triumphant, leading two mules loaded with sacks of flour, dried fish, and jars of pickled vegetables. He is flanked by strangers: a stooped witch with wind-burned cheeks and a young werewolf with a haunted stare.

Reflectively, I stopped talking to catch it with both hands. And as I looked down, I saw something I hadn’t expected to see again. ...It was my bag. My breath caught in my throat as I stared at it, completely in disbelief it was real, but I immediately rushed to look inside. Sure enough, my book was still there. The cover appeared to have some scratches on it, probably from when I was kicked along the rocky ground, but it was otherwise still intact. “My book...,” I choked out. “You found my book... where was it?”

I unzip my school bag and place the book inside. ‘W-what are you doing, Magnus? You can’t take the book. It would be -s-stealing.’ ‘I’m just borrowing it for now. I’ll return it once we break the curse, okay?’ ‘I guess.’ ‘Time to get out of here.’ I say. We blow the candles out and open the door ajar. Once the coast is clear, I walk out and distract the librarian again with more flirting while Pipsqueak locks up the room and returns the keys.
