There Is No Devil Novels & Stories

"And what if you are?" His lips curved. Dark. Dangerous. "Then you should pray, Elena Rossi. Because the devil does not let go of what belongs to him." He turned and walked away. I stood there frozen, realizing I had walked into a cage made of gold and glass. And the devil held the only key.

Devil looks furious, but there’s pride and admiration in his eyes too. “Just a question, big bro,” I say. “Do you always let bitches speak for you, or were they lying about you not wanting me here? I’m guessing the latter, but hey, you never know.” I wipe the blood off my knuckles with my jeans and wait for his answer. “Bitches were lying. I never even talk to them. I just fuck ’em,” Devil says. He’s not looking at me, though... he’s eyeing the unconscious women on the floor.

He looked at the young man, a very man of Denever who immediately recover from shock. “So the devil-” he gritted his teeth when he realize the glare coming from the woman who lecture him earlier. He laughed like a madman and stood highly, forgetting the reason of why he even here this moment. “Spotlight never failed to be reliable as ever,” he said, narrating a damn thing. “You, for sure has decide to show that despicable horns of yours, Coplete.”

“You talk a lot.” “You’re so mean.” I pouted before a genius idea popped into my mind. “You know what? We should be best friends because you’re marrying my best friend. We should all be best friends together!” I couldn't contain my excitement and hugged him tightly with a big smile on my face. “Althaia.” The familiar voice of the Devil spoke, making me turn around to look at him. “Oh, look who came over, Tank Man. It’s il Diavolo.” I giggled.

In a few seconds, he was towering over me, pressing a finger on my lips to threaten me, " Sshh! Watch before you speak, Princepessa. I am not your prince charming anymore. I am the devil who is here to suck your soul. If I made you just my fuck body, what will the world call my child? An illegitimate one? In no way, I was going to allow it. Get on the bed and wait for me. I want your back to remember because I really don't wish to kiss your poisonous lips ever which fed me lies for years."

I looked at her with deadly coldness before the words slipped from my lips simply. "The Devil of Black Magic… then." Her eyes widened in obvious shock, and she swallowed hard. "N-No… I cannot speak about him, please." "That Devil disappeared thousands of years ago… do you know why he has appeared now?" I questioned, ignoring her words. She shook her head quickly. "I know nothing about him except that he is the greatest enemy of witches. He is the doom of us all." I had heard about that Devil before, but I had never seen him. Everyone believed he was merely a legend… a terrifying story told to children, nothing more than fiction.

“There is a war going on and only the innocent will perish.” “What the hell,” gasped Hank. He gave his partner a raised eyebrow. “Do you know what’s going on?” Ava sighed, “There is a hidden war that we mortals don’t see.” Her eyes turned towards him; she knew that he would not see any humor in them. “The fight against the Devil is upon us.” The detective laughed that sounded hollow. “Girl, what else is new. I have heard similar things in church and the Bible.” He glanced towards the man upon the ground. “There has to be more than that going on.”

It was just a way for him to have control and power over me. But I’m the one with the power here. To get my revenge, I would do anything, I would give anything, and right now, I was selling my soul to the devil. But in this story, there are two devils. One doesn’t just know it yet.

Swiftly I nod while I tremble. “Good, now be a good girl and come here, the sun is still up, so we can get started, we have a long…. The night ahead of us Vida," the devil tells. Now I understand, it is true that the devil doesn't bargain.
