Boo-fucking-hoo. The Geek Squad was extremely excited to see me back at lunch and waved me right over. I smiled because these guys were genuine. We had all become close in the years we had been together. These were my true friends. They were Jadelynn’s true friends. I lay back flat on my bed as my legs could no longer support me. I looked at Shanine with great satisfaction. It seemed this pretty young lady had fallen for me. I was truly blessed. Soon, Kerrigan found out about our encounter. She warned Shanine not to take me all for herself, but Shanine wouldn't listen. She still came to see me. Eventually, both of them reached a tacit agreement. On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, it would be Shanine's turn, and Kerrigan could have me on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Sundays were for me to get properly rested.

Number? Harmony was scrambling in her head, trying to remember her number. He must have mistaken her silence for something else because he said. "You're very funny, Harmony." His eyes darted to her feet which were shuffling all over the place. She was uncomfortable? He raised his eyes back at her face. "I think we can be friends." He added. She swallowed, before opening her mouth and casually giving her number to him with a shaky voice. "It was nice talking to you." He told her, and the sentence instigated a slight smile on her face, but still, one that brightened her blue eyes.

And just like that, they all adjusted, sitting around her as they began playing the game, except for Edward who sat there solely committing malpractice by helping his girlfriend out. It still was fun afterwards. During the game, Daisy thought about her other two friends Rose and Cindy. It's been a really long time since they all played together. 'How I wish they are here,' she thought but didn't voice that out. She did not want to ruin the moment. Then she thought of Rose who is also at the hospital due to the accident. There and then, she made up her mind to go over to see her friends tomorrow. She has missed them way too much not to see them any further than this.

"Cast..." she started, but I scoffed and cut her off. "Don't. Let's not pretend this isn't what it is. You've got Jaed now. Someone who's going to love you and protect you no matter what. You don't need me, and we both know it. You'll move on, and I'll just be..." I trailed off, shrugging. "The third wheel. Again." "That's not true," she said quickly. "I'll always be your friend."
