My name is Akira Sy, or rather, Akira Sy Montenegro—18 years old. Yes, I’m married to the man I love most, Kyle Xavier Montenegro. He’s a businessman—handsome, incredibly successful, and has everything. I fell in love with him when I was 16, always dreaming that one day we’d be together, and yes, my dreams came true. The next morning, I woke up to a cold sensation on my face. I opened my eyes and realized it was water, soaking my entire face. I looked up and was met with Kyle’s dark, piercing gaze. I immediately felt a wave of anxiety. “K-Kyle,” I stammered, my voice trembling. He closed his eyes tightly, as if burdened by a huge problem. “Stand up, wh*re. I’m hungry. Cook for me, NOW!” he ordered with authority, making me scramble to get up without even bothering to wipe my face or change clothes. No, we don’t sleep in the same room. He’s in the master bedroom while I stay in the guest room because he finds me disgusting. It hurts so much when those words come from him. He’s always like that. I rushed down the stairs, tying my robe as I went, heading straight to the kitchen to prepare his breakfast. Yes, I’m his secret wife. No one knows except our parents and a few friends. Since we got married, there hasn’t been a day when he didn’t remind me that he doesn’t love me. Not a day goes by without him hurting me, but it’s okay because, like I said, I love him so much that I’m willing to do anything just for him to love me back.

"You don't love me because she is the one you love. I am not important to you because she is important to you! And most of all I am not in your mind because she is always in your mind. I am not the one you choose because she is the one you choose, and besides that I get tired instead of you getting tired let me go first as and I set you free, lets set each other free!" L.A. Cruz.

"Get up, I'm hungry. Cook for me NOW!" The authoritative tone jolted me awake, not giving me a moment to freshen up or even change. I hurriedly made my way downstairs, still tying the robe around me. In the kitchen, I began preparing his breakfast. You see, I'm his secret wife. No one knows except our parents and a few friends. Since we got married, not a day goes by without him reminding me that he doesn't love me. Not a day goes by without him hurting me. But that's alright because, as I've mentioned, I love him so much that I'm willing to do anything just to earn his love in return. A single tear escaped and fell onto the clove of garlic I was chopping. I quickly wiped it away. From the corner of my eye, I noticed Manang watching me. I took a deep breath to regain my composure before turning to her with a forced smile. "I'm sorry; I got emotional over garlic." I lied.

My parents wanted me to marry an old, monstrous businessman, so I married my best friend instead to appease them. It was a three-year marriage contract. The terms were clear if I did not fall in love with Carlo, he would let me go freely. But if I fell in love with him within those three years, we would renew our marriage and hold a proper wedding. Three years have passed, and our contract is almost at an end. But honestly, I slowly fell in love with him over time only to find out a devastating truth on the very day we renewed our marriage, my best friend Yuki was already in an intimate relationship with Carlo. My heart aches so badly. Should I let him go and let him be happy? Or should I stay and fight for what I believe is rightfully mine? But what if his heart no longer belongs to me at all? Should I just let everything go… and run away?

I'm so tired of disappointing myself. I'm so tired of heartbreaks and tears. I'm just so tired. I never thought that love can be so tiring. “I p-promise... if this is the world of getting married to me, to hurt me, t-this would be the last tears I will cry anymore.” I said while crying under the rain. It took a minutes before he make not just one step, instead he ran into me and hug me tightly. "I waited for this, my moon," he whispered. I miss his touch, I miss everything about him. I am home and I can't wait to feel his love again. All the pains and burdens from the past will remain in the past and this is the starting of my new life.

She's my childhood friend. My favorite obsession. I wasn’t supposed to feel this way about her. She was meant to be off-limits, that I could treasure but never touch. But the more I watch her, the more I crave her. She’s mine, whether she realizes it or not. I’ll pull her into my world, wrap her in my obsession, until she’s as consumed by me as I am by her. And when that moment comes, when she finally sees me for who I am now, there’ll be no turning back. Because some obsessions aren’t meant to be fought, they’re meant to be fulfilled.
