He says as we pay for tickets. He was serious about the horror movie. He buys two tickets for two movies. The romance and the horror. We find our seats and we sit down. At first, I tried to focus, but within minutes, boredom crept in. I let out a quiet sigh, shifting uncomfortably in my seat. The plot was slow, and I found myself zoning out, my mind wandering elsewhere. My eyes ached from the hours I had spent watching TV earlier, but I still kept them on the screen, pretending to be engaged. Then..tap tap. Luca lightly nudged my arm. "Hey," he whispered, sensing my absence. "I ain't feeling this movie. Wanna go somewhere else? Somewhere fun?” Oh! Did this man read my mind?

I shyly confessed, and he just chuckled. After minutes of brainstorming on what movie we should watch, we ended up watching 365 days. I actually don’t know why, among all the millions of movies out there, it’s the 365 days movie that we’re watching now. Shit! It’s only making the scenario worse for me! Especially when the scene turns to the explicit ones. The whole living area becomes surrounded with defeaning silence, and I couldn’t focus on the movie anymore because even his breath had my ears full attention.
