He was livid. "Why can't I just catch a fucking break? Here I am, in the God damned apocalypse, and I'm nothin' but a fucking babysitter. I feel like I have to be everyone's fucking dad all the time! I'm sick and tired of it. I didn't sign up for this shit." Thomas wasn't talking to me. He was venting toward the shelves while he checked our weapons and medication. It Was a manic broken sound that bounced off the warehouse walls and made my skin crawl. “He looked so surprised.” Thomas whispered, smiling now, “When I grabbed him. Like he couldn’t believe it. Like he thought he was safe. Thought his little morals would protect him.” I swallowed hard, bile rising in my throat, “You’re insane.” “I’m free!” Thomas shouted, eyes gleaming with a terrifying light, “He thought he could play god with my life. But I showed him what happens when you think you’re better than me!” Kaidon didn’t move. He just stared at Thomas like he was looking at something already dead.

They retorted, voice laced deep with sarcasm. Relief fills me like a balloon, it's only my oh so lovely brother Thomas. Jumping out of my bed, I hurry across my floor, unlock my door, and swing it open. Here I was worried about nothing. Thomas wears a lopsided smile that's kind of comical, his golden blonde hair is messy, and Christmas pajama pants hang on his hips not bothering to wear a t-shirt. Both Declan and Thomas don't ever wear a t-shirt to bed, definitely a guy thing. What a look.

He probably paid them to say all these hateful things about me," He looked up at me and met my eyes since he began his rant, "They called me unintellectual. THEY FUCKING CALLED ME DUMB! CAN YOU FUCKING BELIEVE THAT?!" Good old Brian Catcher. That man for sure had my vote. But as for Thomas' question, I shook my head saying no but the truth was that I could actually believe it. Anyone who spent fifteen minutes with Thomas would most surely be able to believe it.

I responded making him quiet then took another pack to smoke. "Well I don't." "Same as I." I responded with a smile. We were silent for a while before Thomas started the conversation again. "So why aren't you with the King boy?" "He ain't in school. Saw he got beaten up pretty badly. Whoever did it has my approval of a wonderful artist." I responded then huffed my smoke. Thomas started to smile then faced forward when I looked at him before he huffed his smoke. I searched his thoughts for more information and saw that he loves money and women and was addicted to watching porn and taking drugs.

Mikel woke up next to me, and he knew something was wrong right away. "What kind of press thing?" I asked, but I already knew I wasn't going to like it. Thomas was on the screen, standing at a podium. It looked like it was at the downtown Marriott. Even at 78, he had that Romano presence, the thing that built a whole empire. But his eyes looked really scary—like he was coolly planning something, but also super mad. "Folks," Thomas started, his voice sounding like he had been talking in boardrooms for decades. "I'm not here as a businessman today, but as a worried family member trying to help a kid."

Francis finally spoke “ Of course as you can see I am fit and doing great, but thanks for asking” Tara replied again “ So what happened that caused you to faint, did my little brother scare you with his cursed appearance ” Thomas spoke with mockery, he enjoyed mocking Xavier even though all of them could never beat him because he was skilled and more powerful than them.
