Today felt different, like the start of something new. I reached for my iPad again, scrolling through my ideas for the next vlog. One idea caught my eye, a simple yet powerful concept: "Moments That Matter." It felt fitting, almost poetic, given the events of the past few days. I wanted to create something that celebrated the little things—the laughter over coffee, the encouragement from friends, the quiet victories that often go unnoticed.

I knew exactly what I was looking for. The diary. It was a small thing; black leather cover, slightly worn at the edges from how often I had held it. I had kept it in this room for years before I left. It was where I wrote everything; every thought about Dean, every fantasy, every shameful confession I could never say out loud. Pages and pages of it, all about him. About how much I wanted him, how much I hated myself for wanting him, how I watched his movies over and over just to see his face.

She marvelled at her erratic heart beats and wondered if they would ever get normal in his presence. As she searched her bag for the comb, she found the small handpocket sized diary that she bought in a thrift store a long time back. She opened it and skimmed through the enty pages of the book when a crazy creative idea popped up. Smiling to herself, she picked a pen from the nearby table as she decided to write about all the beautiful memories she had with Ronan the previous day. This way, she can relive them whenever she wanted without missing out on even the smallest details. Excerpts from Anya's Diary:

​The morning air in Oakhaven was sharp, carrying the scent of pine and impending rain. I sat on a crate in the square, my mind reeling as Dorian spread the contents of a rusted metal box across the wooden table between us. It was a time capsule of a life I barely remembered: polaroid photos of faces I couldn't name, letters written in a youthful, looping script, and a dried flower pressed inside a diary.

People will notice in any attitude towards them but they won’t notice their behaviour that made you change. Flashback Continues Daisy’s P.O.V. I wake up early in the morning. Today is Sunday. No office, no work. I love Sundays. After taking a quick shower, I come to the balcony to get some fresh air and share my thoughts with my diary. The cool morning breeze brushes against my skin as I sit on the lounger, the diary open in front of me. It’s my habit to pour out my thoughts and feelings onto its pages, a way to deal with my messed-up thoughts.

The Present "What do you think will happen if I start telling everyone your deepest, darkest secrets?" I crumple the paper in my hands as a familiar black shroud covered me. A clear threat. The third one I've gotten this week and this only has one explanation. My diary from 2013. It's been two years and I still haven't found it. Whoever has my diary really has it in for me. I need to figure out who this person is and stop them before they can start doing so. Ugh. Just thinking about it makes my head ache. And it's the start of Senior Year, too, when it's the busiest time for us in the Student Council.

"I need you to be patient for a few days." I said okay and he left and I sat on the edge of the bed and thought about a few days on a single floor and tried to figure out how to make that manageable. By the third afternoon I had read two books, done three gym sessions, reorganized the library shelf twice, and had a long conversation with Ivan about the pastry place that went nowhere because we could not go to the pastry place. I started the video diary mostly because I needed somewhere to put things. Not for anyone. Just for me. My phone propped against the books and me talking to it about whatever was on my mind.

It laid on the table and it seemed it was inviting me to open it Just one look, my mind whispered. Just to understand her better. Slowly, I placed the plate back down. My fingers moved almost on their own as I picked up the diary and I opened it carefully, not wanting the sound of flipping pages to wake her. Page after page filled with uneven handwriting. Little thoughts. Little feelings. Each page starting with, dear diary. I skimmed gently, not reading every word… until a photo pasted on one side of a page caught my attention.

"I'm scared of both. I'm scared of getting married again, I'm also scared of marrying him. Not scared as in exactly scared per se, but hatred. Am I making sense?" "Yes," Karima nodded. "And it is very okay to feel that way. Perhaps you can use this," she said, passing forth a little diary to Zeenah. "You can use this to write those thoughts you are scared of.
