I’m not a rank groupie. I shake myself off as best I can with a full tray. Tye and Lochlan are still blocking my way. I could go back, circle around behind the tables, but that’d take forever. It’s getting muggier and more humid by the second, and my shirt is sticking to me. I’ll wait a few more seconds. Tye looks to be making his comeback. He’s not going to lose. Killian wouldn’t have ordered him to fight if it wasn’t a sure thing. Killian and Tye are closer than brothers, and in this pack, everything goes the way Killian wants.

I looked up at his face, breaking the first safety tip I had been told. This was a man of shadows, a man my father had sworn didn't exist, yet many times at night, I heard him curse at them. No one knew where exactly they came from, all we knew was they built a family, fast. Killing all their competitors, taking over families. They had murdered a boss last year, because he spilled a drink on one of them in spite. I had enjoyed watching them, following all their updates. My father called them monsters.

The Ford brothers are a curse! I exhale sharply and rub my temple. “I’m tired. I don’t feel like eating.” His smile fades. He walks toward me. “Are you okay?” I shove him back. “Leave me alone.” He stares at me, stunned. “What’s wrong, Sara? Talk to me.” Something snaps. “I’m tired!” I shout. “Tired of you! Your stupid brother! Jason! Khlan! All of it! I just want to go home and have some peace!”

Then a warrior crashed through the estate gate at a full run and did not stop until he reached the ceremonial ground and everyone turned to look at him and he shouted, still breathing hard, across the gathered pack. I force myself to say, my voice is more sultry than I intend for it to be, and my body is betraying me; my nipples are hard, and there’s goosebumps all over my skin. “Yeah,” Zephyr shrugs as he takes a sip of his vodka. “It’s the only way any of us can fuck you.” He adds, and my mouth opens, but no word comes out. The silence is chilling, all four brothers are looking at me as if waiting for me to say something, but I almost don’t know what to say. The Dreadmoor brothers want me even though they shouldn’t. I’m their best friend’s wife. They’re my husband’s best friends, we should be off-limits to each other, but when Malcolm’s voice rings in my head again, I damn all consequences.

He sighed and said thoughtfully, "What a stupid brother. How can he still be caught since he had the Tyrant Hammer with him?" The three brothers looked at each other and were amused with how Goddad acted like an adult. At that moment, Zephyr had returned quickly with a solemn face. He shouted from a distance, "Crap! The situation is bad!"

Angus opens his mouth to object, but Lenox beats him to it, "Nah-hah, think again, shit on a stick; I'm sure you know how this pack was divided between three brothers, don't you?" "Yes," my brother confirms, nodding his head like a madman. Lenox grabs my brother's wrist, and the pained expression on Angus's face combined with the sound of breaking bones proves that this madman is not someone to be joked around with. "I'm the third. Shall we ask my brothers to join me? Both of them are pretty fucking fond of the pretty little thing you're touching. In fact, one of them already views her as HIS. Are you catching the vibe yet, shitface?"
